He paid $13,000 in taxes through a company listed on the CRA's website — but the money disappeared
Rodney Conlon owed nearly $13,000 in personal income tax, so he thought he'd try a new way to pay that was advertised on the Canada Revenue Agency's website.
The federal agency's website provides links to two companies — one Canadian, the other American — that will process credit card payments and funnel funds to the CRA for taxpayers.
