Famous rapper is handcuffed and arrested while trying to board a flight in Miami

Rapper Trippie Redd was arrested and dragged out of Miami International Airport as he tried to board a flight to France. The Florida-based performer, born Michael Lamar White, was picked up on an active warrant relating to a 2023 incident, according to a police report seen by NBC News. The 26-year-old was listed in the lineup for Les Ardentes, a festival taking place in Belgium on Saturday. It is understood he had an active Miami-Dade County warrant related to an invalid driver's license case. Customs and Border Protection flagged the warrant as he went to board the flight to Europe on Thursday afternoon, sparking his arrest. Video captured of the arrest shows White being handcuffed as he was surrounded by at least seven officers. He responded without incident, but a crowd had gathered and were shouting at the officers as White was dragged out of the airport. He was allegedly released on a $150 bond. After his release, Redd went back to posting on X as fans desperately await an update on new music. 'Get ready I'm coming different this time on my life all in house work,' he assured them. The rapper's debut album, Life's a Trip, was released in August 2018 and soared to number four on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. He has been performing on the festival circuit, recently appearing at Rolling Loud in Miami Gardens.

Pusha T Fires Shots at Travis Scott in New Clipse Single "So Be It"

Summary Pusha Ttakes aim atTravis Scottin the latestClipsesingle, 'So Be It.' The track hears Push andMaliceglide over production work fromPharrell, with the former directly calling out La Flame in a fiery verse. 'You cried in front of me, you died in front of me/Calabasas took your b*tch and your pride in front of me/HeardUTOPIAhad moved right up the street/And her lip gloss was poppin', she ain't need you to eat,' he raps, namedropping theCactus Jackartist's latest album and even alluding to Scott's breakup withKylie Jenner, with whom he shares two kids with. The Clipse member confirmed that he has a bone to pick with Scott. He toldGQthat it began when the latter playedUTOPIAfor Pharrell atLouis VuittonHQ, when Clipse was also present and working. Push explained that the version of 'Meltdown' — a track that featured a verse fromDrakedissing P — that was played that day didn't include Drizzy. Pusha T wasn't a fan of the fact that Drake's verse was included after Scott played the track for Pharrell. He alleged that Scott lacks loyalty, and takes sides when it's convenient for him. 'He's done this a lot. He has no picks. He'll do this with anybody. He did it with 'Sicko Mode'… He was on the [Rolling Loud] stage like, 'Play that, play that,'' he continued, referring to the Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar's 'Like That' — the diss track that elevated Drake and Dot's feud. 'He don't have no picks, no loyalty to nobody. He'll jump around whatever he feels is hot or cling onto whatever he feels is hot.' He added, 'So, that's where my issue comes in — like, dawg, don't even come over here with that, because at the end of the day, I don't play how y'all play. To me, that really was just like … He's a wh*re. He's a wh*re.' In addition to the release of 'So Be It,' Clipse also unveiled an alternateVerdycover for their upcoming albumLet God Sort Em Out. The reveal includes a merch lineup featuring branded T-shirts in the style of Verdy, graphics with Vick, a vinyl LP, CD and cassette. Kanye West makes surprise appearance at Diddy trial: A look at their complicated friendship

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West , made a brief but high-profile appearance at the Manhattan federal courthouse on Friday to show support for longtime friend Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is currently facing sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges. Dressed in white, Ye arrived around noon while court was in recess. Though he didn't enter the main courtroom, he observed proceedings via closed-circuit television in an overflow room for roughly 40 minutes. When asked if he was there to support Combs, Ye simply nodded and replied, 'Yes,' before quickly leaving in a black Mercedes sedan without taking further questions. Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges alleging he exploited his fame and power over a 20-year span to commit serious crimes. Ye's appearance came just a day after a woman identified as 'Jane' wrapped up six days of harrowing testimony, including claims that she was coerced into sex acts while in a relationship with Combs. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Are you ready to conquer a planet? Undo While prosecutors paint a picture of abuse and coercion, Combs' defense team argues the government is targeting private, consensual encounters. Kanye and Diddy: From Mutual Admiration to Public Feud Live Events Ye and Diddy's relationship was once built on deep mutual respect. Kanye credited Diddy for inspiring his music and even his marriage to Kim Kardashian, saying, 'So many of my life choices, my wife choices... he inspired.' Diddy, in turn, said Ye reignited his passion for hip-hop after attending one of Ye's concerts in 2009. Their friendship took a turn in 2022 when Kanye released controversial 'White Lives Matter' shirts. Diddy criticized the move as 'tone deaf,' sparking a heated exchange of texts which Kanye posted on Instagram. Although they briefly crossed paths again at Rolling Loud in March 2024, Ye reportedly declined to speak with Diddy. Tensions resurfaced in April when Kanye appeared to reference the charges against Diddy in a remix of 'Like That,' rapping: "I just f—ed your b in a Sean John tank top." Despite the fallout, Ye's courtroom appearance signals a complex and enduring — if strained — bond. Whether this marks reconciliation or just a gesture of loyalty remains to be seen as Diddy's high-stakes trial unfolds.

Playboi Carti Nearly Hits No. 1 Following 67,000% Sales Surge

Playboi Carti's Music returns to Billboard's Top Album Sales chart at No. 2 following its CD ... More release, marking his highest-ever position on that tally. INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 16: Rapper Playboi Carti debuts his new album "I Am Music" onstage during the Rolling Loud Festival at Hollywood Park Grounds on March 16, 2025 in Inglewood, California. (Photo by) When Playboi Carti released his new album Music earlier this spring, it was originally only available via streaming platforms and digital download storefronts like iTunes and Amazon. That's not uncommon for projects that shift release dates, as sometimes, even the biggest names in pop and hip-hop can change plans at the last minute and decide to drop a full-length with just a few days' notice. That typically means physical copies will arrive later. Music became available on CD more than two months after it hit streaming sites, and a vinyl edition is slated to arrive later in June. The release of the hugely successful title on CD helps push it back onto a number of rankings, and it nearly earns the rapper his first champion on one Billboard tally. Music reappears on this week's Top Album Sales chart, the ranking of the bestselling EPs and full-lengths in the United States. It breaks back onto the list and settles in the runner-up spot, which marks a new career high point for Carti on this roster. The only project preventing him from securing his first career No. 1 is I'm the Problem by Morgan Wallen. That set easily conquered the tally last time around and refuses to budge. The country project may lead the charge on the Top Album Sales chart for several more frames. While it didn't get to dominate the sales-only roster, Music did bring Carti back to the summit on the Billboard 200. Before its return, Music already stood as Carti's loftiest winner on the Top Album Sales chart. The set opened at No. 3 back in late March, coming in behind Hot by Le Sserafim and Mayhem by Lady Gaga, which dipped to the runner-up space in its second frame on the tally. When Music debuted, it beat the No. 5 high point that Whole Lotta Red reached in June 2021. Music experienced a massive sales spike thanks to its CD release. The week before it became available on a physical format, the title sold just under 100 copies. The following frame, it shipped 17,500 CDs and digital downloads (per Luminate) — a growth of more than 67,000% in just a few days.

Trapstar Take Bold on Modern Streetwear to Built for the Brave

Streetwear isn't supposed to be polite. It's not supposed to whisper. It should shout—and Trapstar shouts in every stitch. This isn't your influencer-friendly, matchy-matchy aesthetic. Trapstar is dark, unfiltered, and unapologetically raw. Born from the underground and raised in rebellion, it doesn't cater to the masses. It speaks directly to the misfits, the bold, and the ones unafraid to turn heads for the right reasons. If you scroll through the raw and electric collection at Trapstar, you'll immediately feel the tension: rugged materials, warzone silhouettes, and anti-establishment design principles. These aren't just garments—they're gear for those who refuse to play by fashion's safe rules. And when it comes to wearing a Trapstar Hoodie, you're not just keeping warm. You're stepping into a piece of statement armor. One that says, 'I'm not here to blend in.' Because honestly, you weren't meant to. Trapstar is the unofficial uniform of 2025's cultural architects. This year, the streets—and red carpets—have been saturated with bold public figures throwing subtlety out the window and embracing Trapstar's headstrong aesthetic. Central Cee performed his sold-out Tokyo Dome set in a Trapstar tactical jacket layered over chrome cargos . The look went viral—not for trying, but for daring. performed his sold-out Tokyo Dome set in a . The look went viral—not for trying, but for daring. Skepta , never one to fall behind the curve, launched his latest visual EP entirely dressed in Trapstar. Even the dancers wore variations of the iconic 'It's a Secret' logo pieces. These aren't one-time co-signs. They're declarations. When culture's loudest voices choose a brand, it's because it echoes their message. What makes Trapstar stand apart? The engineering. Every piece is more than aesthetic—it's built like tactical equipment. The design decisions go way deeper than style. They're intentional, wearable, and built for resistance. The Trapstar Hoodie features heavyweight 460 GSM brushed fleece , which gives it its distinct structure and long-lasting durability. Unlike fast-fashion hoodies, this one doesn't sag or fade. features heavyweight , which gives it its distinct structure and long-lasting durability. Some of their latest drops even use CORDURA® ripstop nylon, a fabric usually found in military-grade gear. Why? Because style should survive. Trapstar understands that in 2025, streetwear is utility. It's about endurance. Not everything needs to look polished. It just needs to be unstoppable. You think Trapstar only works with sneakers and joggers? Think again. The real power of this brand comes out when you challenge the rules. It thrives in contrast. Pair your Trapstar hoodie with a pinstripe trouser and Chelsea boots. Disrupt the silhouette—make your streetwear look like a business decision. Disrupt the silhouette—make your streetwear look like a business decision. Layer a Trapstar tactical vest over a crisp, white dress shirt. Throw on a long overcoat and watch the room freeze. Throw on a long overcoat and watch the room freeze. Mix their dark camo cargos with a pop-color sneaker or even loafers. Yes—loafers. Your style doesn't need permission. Trapstar was never meant to be predictable. The trick is leaning into the chaos. Let the structure of their clothing do the talking, while you bend every 'fashion rule' you've been fed. This brand didn't ask for attention. It seized it. Since its underground emergence, Trapstar has grown from West London back alleys into a worldwide style movement. And that isn't an exaggeration—it's data-backed. A 2025 fashion trend report from WGSN revealed a 212% increase in global searches for terms like 'dark urban wear,' 'techwear street fashion,' and 'militant aesthetic.' in global searches for terms like 'dark urban wear,' 'techwear street fashion,' and 'militant aesthetic.' Gen Z and Alpha consumers rank anti-mainstream identity as their #1 motivator when choosing a fashion brand. Guess what Trapstar does better than anyone? Trapstar's success isn't accidental—it's cultural gravity. It speaks to something primal: the need to feel strong, to look impenetrable, and to claim your space without apology. You don't wear Trapstar to be seen. You wear it to take up space. In a landscape of brands trying to win hearts, it wins respect. It doesn't sell you aspiration. It sells you attitude. This is for the brave—the ones who walk through fire, who thrive in smoke, who see obstacles and grin. What makes it so powerful isn't just the look. It's the message stitched into the seams. This brand doesn't care if you understand it. It knows its people will. Trapstar isn't meant for the passive consumer. It's designed for the bold. The ones who refuse to apologize for their presence, and instead double down on it. TIME BUSINESS NEWS
