Kith reopens its historic Manhattan flagship

Kith officially reopened on Friday its Manhattan boutique, at 337 Lafayette St. Located within a Landmark district, the three-level boutique blends historical architecture with contemporary design. Materials transition seamlessly from floor to floor, from darker, grounded tones to lighter, more refined finishes, creating a natural progression. The store is characterized by a blend of dark walnut contrasted with white oak, alongside a selection of marble stones such as Varias Green and Mountain White Danby, among other elements. The first floor is now fully dedicated to Kith Men's assortment, with displays accented by satin brass fixtures and leather-wrapped shelving. An updated statement staircase guides visitors to the second floor housing a curated mix of multi-brand ready-to-wear pieces and accessories. Lastly, the third floor showcases the latest in footwear. The store opens with the brand's Summer 2025 collection. Kith founder Ronnie Fieg also teamed up with New Balance to unveil an all-new 2010 silhouette. Completing the space is a street-level Kith Treats window offering signature specials, a Build Your Own menu, and an exclusive new creation: The Metropolitan Cronut. 'This reopening is historic—the Manhattan flagship represents Kith's beginning, and this luxury upgrade paves the way for the future,' the brand said in a news statement. Earlier this year, Kith opened a new flagship store in the city of Osaka, marking its second flagship in Japan, following its Tokyo location.

Kith Pre-Fall 2025 Collection

Summer has found Kith's Ronnie Fieg in a softer—dare we say romantic?—mood. It's obvious from the opening look: a light overshirt with teeny studs, a cutout slit that runs across the hip, and playful tassel details. It could be made from suede but it's a linen cupro blend that feels wonderful to the touch. Delicate floral embroideries embellish cotton button-downs, the brand's signature paisley print gets done up in pastel shades, and crochet rules above all, especially in a navy-and-white football jersey-inspired sweater that looks like a post-beach essential. Call it boho-streetwear—it works. Everything has a natural worn-in feel: denim overshirts in sun-bleached white, a washed denim jacket in barely-there pink, an embroidered chambray pullover that is straight from Martha Stewart's closet (that's a good thing). Further emphasizing this laid-back feel are a series of prints inspired by old floral and decorative tapestries in washed satin—a pullover shirt in shades of navy and carmine red is a highlight. But fear not, there is still a sporty, uniquely Kith feel running throughout; you can see it in the totally '90s colorblocked tracksuits and mesh jerseys, and in the Kith Cigarette-emblazoned pieces made in collaboration with Cigarette Racing, the classic Miami racing boats (so named because of their shape). Fieg is a fiend for fabrics and textures, a passion that's usually strongly showcased in his fall and winter collections, but he's cracked the code on warm weather clothes with just as much panache. Groovy tropical wool and double crepe suiting rounds out the collection. 'I'm going to be 43 and this is the way I dress for summer,' he said at a walkthrough at the brand's temporary store on Broadway while the Lafayette flagship undergoes a gut renovation ahead of the brand's 15th anniversary. 'I think we've helped our customer transition into dressing a bit more tailored, and that's been really fun.'

This New Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Style Is Ready for Summer

A new 'Baltic Blue' Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble recently released at overseas retailers and while fans await wider availability for that style, another pair is popping up stateside that has some decidedly summer energy. The Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble 'Green Gusto' is one of the latest colorways to launch for the remastered retro sneaker. While it doesn't use the Air Max 95's original gradient fade color blocking, it arrives in a majority Summit White upper with black detailing and bright Green Gusto accents throughout the upper. The color placement is similar to the aforementioned 'Baltic Blue' look, but this 'Green Gusto' pair adds black to the mix for a more broken-up look. More from Footwear News Corteiz's Next Nike Air Max Collaboration Is Dropping This Weekend in NYC The Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble Sneaker Dropped in a New 'Baltic Blue' Colorway With its warm weather-friendly color palette, this 'Green Gusto' Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble serves as a decent consolation prize for those who weren't able to nab the limited-edition 'Neon' rerelease. And if the 'Green Gusto' iteration isn't your thing, there are plenty of other pairs on the way including 'Bright Mandarin' and 'Pink Foam' gradient styles. To celebrate the shoe's 30th anniversary, Nike improved the Air Max 95's build for its 2025 retro release. The shoe's visible Air units are more pronounced than they've been since the 2000s, a feature that not only improves aesthetics, but the sneaker's on-foot comfort. The shape of the Air Max 95 has also been tweaked with a roomier toe box fit. In April, Kith founder Ronnie Fieg stated that the changes make a 'huge difference when wearing, both visibly and physically' and called the retro a 'big win for Nike.' The good news for fans of the classic running sneaker is that the launches don't appear to be slowing down any time soon. In April alone, Nike released the original 'Neon' colorway, a hyper-limited 'Reverse Gradient' in partnership with The Museum of Modern Art, a 'Contrast Stitch' pack featuring the 'Michigan' style, a 'Mini Swoosh' collection and a women's-exclusive duo. This latest Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble 'Green Gusto' is available now from select stockists including Snipes for a retail price of $180. The shoe's full colorway is 'Summit White/Black/Green Gusto' and its SKU is IB1667-100.
