'We are particularly keen to hear from anyone in the area with private CCTV or dash-cam footage who may have captured something of significance which could help our investigation.' Officers revealed the teenager was treated at the scene following the attack around 1.45pm on Friday. It took place as James Bay — who replaced Irish rappers Kneecap — played the main stage.

The 15-year-old was attacked at the entrace to the festival yesterday afternoon. A teen was assaulted outside entrance to TRNSMT festival in Glasgow. Cops were alerted to the incident in the Saltmarket area of the city around 1:45pm yesterday afternoon, Friday, July 11. The 15-year-old boy was targeted outside the main gate of the event in Glasgow Green, near Glasgow High Court. He was given medical treatment at the scene but no more information is available on his injuries at this stage. Police Scotland urge anyone with information on the incident to come forward.
