However, some would have preferred a design change, complaining that it has a "dark water tank, which is impossible to see through." Reviewing the iron, one shopper wrote: "Tried a few steam irons over the years, but this one is by far my favorite. It heats up quickly, glides effortlessly, and makes even the most stubborn wrinkles disappear like magic. The steam output is strong and consistent, and it doesn't leak or sputter like others I've used in the past." Another buyer added: "This steam iron is fantastic. It delivers powerful steam, making ironing quick and efficient. The iron heats up fast and glides smoothly over fabrics, removing wrinkles with ease. It's also very affordable, offering great value for money. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and effective steam iron!" Someone else praised: "Great price. Nice and light, which I good news as I have arthritis in my hands, you can see how much water you have in the tank, and the stainless steel bottom seems to glide through my ironing. Very happy with my purchase." However, different shoppers disagreed, suggesting they found it difficult to check the water tank. One such response read: "This iron is reasonably priced and has a smooth stainless steel soleplate that does exactly what it is supposed to do. The only issue I have with this model is the dark water tank, which is impossible to see through, so I never know the water level." A second agreed: "I like the stainless steel soleplate, which is more difficult to find now. The water tank is a little dark making it difficult to see the water level." A third echoed: "With a stainless steel sole-plate it is very smooth to use. I have knocked one star off because the colour of the water tank is quite dark, which makes seeing the water level a bit more difficult than it need be." Despite this, shoppers had success using the iron. A pleased customer replied: "I'm amazed by the quality of this iron. I haven't got to the bottom of my ironing pile in about 5 years because I hate ironing so much but with the Russell Hobbs steam iron I got through my ironing pile in a a couple of sittings - now that is saying something." But someone else said: "Good iron on lightweight material but wouldn't get creases out of my jeans even with steam full on and spaying with water."
