Wigan Athletic have signed Portsmouth striker Christian Saydee for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the League One club. Saydee made 73 appearances for Pompey and was part of the side that won promotion to the Championship in 2024, but he started just 10 league games games last season. He began his senior career at Bournemouth and made six appearances for the Cherries before joining Portsmouth in 2023. He has also had spells on loan at Shrewsbury, Burton and Weymouth.
