Israeli Aggression: Enemy Warplanes launch intense airstrikes on southern Lebanon

Beirut – SABA: Israeli warplanes carried out a series of intense airstrikes on various areas in southern Lebanon on Friday, despite the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since last November. According to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), the Israeli aircraft launched a 'wide-scale aerial aggression,' targeting the forests of Ali Al-Taher, the heights of Kfar Tibnit, and Nabatiyeh Al-Fawqa, using concussion missiles that caused powerful explosions. The report added that the airstrikes were repeated shortly afterward, hitting the same areas, with no immediate reports of casualties. Earlier in the day, an Israeli drone dropped a sound bomb near two civilian vehicles in the town of Ramiya, in the Nabatiyeh region, without causing injuries. It is worth noting that the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel, which came into force on November 27, stipulated the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages in southern Lebanon within 60 days. However, the Israeli military has remained stationed in five points and continues to violate the agreement intermittently. Facebook Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

Dhamar launches awareness campaign on dangers of drugs

Dhamar – SABA: The Anti-Narcotics Department at the Dhamar Governorate Police launched today an awareness campaign on the dangers of drug use, coinciding with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, observed every year on June 26. At the launch event, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Mahdi, Director of Security in Dhamar, emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the harmful effects of drugs on individuals and society. He warned that drugs have become one of the major threats to the community, especially as enemies seek to facilitate drug infiltration into the country in an effort to weaken, corrupt, and divide the population. Al-Mahdi stressed the need for enhanced coordination between security units and relevant authorities to confront this dangerous phenomenon, which poses a threat to the entire nation. He also highlighted the recent success of the Anti-Narcotics Department in seizing a quantity of cocaine—one of the most dangerous drugs—along with other types of narcotics. For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Al-Ezzi Al-Mutawakkil, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department, described drugs as one of the major contemporary challenges that devastate nations and destroy generations, particularly targeting youth, who are the foundation for building the future. He called on all relevant institutions to contribute to spreading awareness of drug risks and to work on protecting the community, especially children and young people, by fostering them with faith-based education and keeping them away from the dangers that threaten their wellbeing. Al-Mutawakkil explained that the campaign will reach all districts of the governorate, aiming to educate the public about the grave dangers drugs pose to individuals and society. President Al-Mashat congratulates Arab, Islamic leaders on arrival of Hijri Year 1447 AH

Sana'a – SABA: His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, sent congratulatory cables to the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of the new Hijri year 1447 AH and the anniversary of the noble Prophet's migration—peace and blessings be upon him. In his messages, President Al-Mashat extended warm congratulations and best wishes to the leaders, wishing them good health and continued progress and prosperity for their nations. He stated: 'These blessed religious occasions come as we continue to face the immoral and inhumane aggression led by the Israeli entity—with American support—in the Middle East, aimed at subjugating the region and seizing its resources and sovereign decision-making.' President Al-Mashat stressed that the only path forward for the Arab and Islamic nations to overcome crises and resist all forms of domination by evil powers is through unity and solidarity in defending the causes of the Ummah—foremost among them, the Palestinian cause. He concluded his messages with prayers to Almighty Allah to bring this noble occasion back upon the Arab and Islamic nations with greater security, dignity, and prosperity.
