'Keith was unable to be in Portugal for this appointment as he is currently on tour in the US, and it is mandatory for applicants to be physically present to apply for the visa,' The Post reported. According to SIC Notícias, Kidman was recently house hunting around the Costa Terra Golf & Ocean Club in Comporta while taking a break from shooting Practical Magic 2 in the United Kingdom. Costa Terra is popular with global A-listers including George Clooney and Paris Hilton and is also a base for royal family member Princess Eugenie. It is understood Kidman, 58, and Urban, 57, already own an apartment in Lisbon's ritzy Parque das Nações district. Initial reports suggested Urban did not accompany his wife and their two daughters to the visa appointment. However, a source close to the Oscar-winning actress told that Urban was unable to join his family due to his tour schedule and will also have an appointment at the visa office. 'Keith is scheduled to have an appointment at the visa office at a later date as his tour schedule conflicted with the date that Nicole and their daughters were able to secure while Nicole is currently shooting Practical Magic 2 in the UK,' the source said. understands applicants must be physically present to apply for a residency visa in Portugal.
