Mowalola Expands the Mowaverse With THE SKATEROOM Collab

Serving up five designs that intertwine 'Mowalola's iconography, attitude, and sense of motion,' the duo brings the designer's distinct visual language to decks dubbed Cheetah, JC, Red, Moto, and Graffiti. 'Each one is a piece of her language, reframed for the street, the gallery, or wherever you claim space,' the SKATEROOM website reads. 'Cheetah' comes dipped in a striking cheetah print with 'Mowalola' written in white cursive on the bottom of the deck, while the top, crafted from 7-ply Grade A Canadian maple wood, is stamped with the brand's bubbly 'M' logo. All five skate decks feature the same 'M' design approach on top of the deck. 'JC' comes covered in silver foil, silkscreen printing, whereas 'Moto' sees some of the designer's infamous flipped logos.
