Jhalsa camp distributes assets worth Rs 18cr among 300 people
Ranchi: Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (Jhalsa) on Saturday held a state-wide legal awareness cum empowerment camp in Khunti during which assets worth around Rs 18 crore were distributed among 300 beneficiaries.

While addressing the meet, Jharkhand high court judge and executive chairman of Jhalsa Justice S N Prasad Justice appealed that people should facilitate the eradication of witch-hunting from the society adding that the social evil is leading to atrocities against hapless people.
He emphasized on the importance of education in creating awareness against the superstitions related to witch hunting. Justice Prasad also stressed on strict implementation of
adding that the masses must be educated about JHASLAs legal services and also about the govt's welfare schemes.
Jharkhand HC judge Sanjay Kumar Dwiwedi said the camp is aimed at providing legal aid to people and also make them aware of their rights.
