Debenhams slashes watch that shopper 'wears instead of Rolex' from £690 to £101

One stunning watch in the sale is the STÜHRLING Original Brigadier Quartz Chronograph 42mm Diver Watch. Normally retailing for £690, shoppers can now grab the eye-catching timepiece for £101.25 after a massive 85 per cent discount.
This Brigadier watch is characterised as a modern dive watch featuring a classic design. Powered by an accurate Quartz chronograph movement, this timepiece comes with a handy stopwatch and impressive water resistance of up to 100m - making this watch perfect for everyday wear and underwater challenges.
Along with luminous hands and indices to help read the time in poor lighting, the watch also comes with a coin edge bezel with an enhanced grip. Along with its versatile and durable design, the timepiece is finished off with an adjustable stainless steel bracelet.
Shoppers have four colourways to choose from, however prices do slightly vary. For those happy with the £101.25 price tag, shoppers can buy the timepiece with a silver bracelet, white dial and either a silver or blue bezel.

For those happy to spend a bit more, Ernest Jones has slashed 49 per cent off the Emporio Armani Men's Blue Dial & Gunmetal Stainless Steel Bracelet Watc h. Normally retailing for £389, shoppers can now buy the watch for £195. This watch is said to provide the perfect balance between elegance and contemporary flair.
Back to the Brigadier watch, it currently doesn't have any reviews on Debenhams, but shoppers have left plenty on the Stuhrling website. Many reviewers were pleased with the quality of the watch as well as the design.
One five-star reviewer said: "I have been thinking about this watch for a while. I loved the look. But what about quality? When I received it I was really impressed. Good quality, great price. It has a real expensive look and feel. Love it."
With another adding: "I purchased this watch for my husband. I was hesitant because it's not an automatic but he loves it! He owns two Rolex and a Breitling so for him to wear this watch every day now says a lot! He already wants another! Great purchase!"
However, one shopper grumbled: "Great purchase, watch feels and looks great. Only snag is not being able to adjust the oyster bracelet because the screws are too small for my tools."
While another shopper wasn't overly impressed with the quality: "This is a nice homage piece, but definitely built down to a price. OK for the discounted price."
Despite this, one top reviewer said: "I own many different watches substantially more costly than my Stuhrling watch but none are as good value. It is both attractive and accurate and I will purchase more of these items in the coming months."
With a sixth reviewer adding: "This watch is a stunner! Much sharper in person than the pictures. The rich blue really pops against the bright white face. Very impressed with the watch!"
