Man, 29, dead after motorcycle crash on Pembina Highway
A 29-year-old man died after his motorcycle crashed with an SUV on Pembina Highway on Wednesday night, police say. The motorcyclist was headed south on Pembina Highway, south of McGillivray Boulevard, when he collided with an SUV as the vehicle left a parking lot shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday, police said in a news release. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition but later died from his injuries, police said. The SUV driver stayed at the site of the crash to speak with police. Southbound Pembina was closed for several hours because of the crash. The investigation into the crash continues.

Driver in custody after crash that left 3 children hurt in West Town
A driver was arrested and another was cited after three children were injured in a crash Saturday night in the West Town Neighborhood. It happened around 10:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Western Avenue. According to Chicago police, the driver, a 34-year-old man, was traveling southbound in a Lexus SUV when he hit a Lexus sedan traveling eastbound on Thomas Street. The SUV then hit two unoccupied parked vehicles on Western Avenue. Three occupants in the SUV suffered injuries. The 34-year-old man suffered bruising to the body, and a passenger, a 13-year-old girl, suffered cuts to the face. They were taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition. A second passenger, a 9-year-old girl, suffered multiple fractures to the head, face, and arm. She was taken to Humboldt Park Health in critical condition. One passenger of the sedan, an 11-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries to the head and was taken to St. Mary's in good condition. Police said the 34-year-old SUV driver was arrested and issued nine citations, and that charges are pending. The sedan driver was issued one citation. The Major Accidents Investigation Unit is investigating.

E-scooter rider dies in hospital following collision in Pickering

Provincial police say it happened on the on-ramp to Highway 401 at Liverpool Road on the afternoon of June 4. Ontario Provincial Police said the e-scooter was crossing the on-ramp when the collision occurred. The rider suffered serious injuries and was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre, where police say he died five days later. Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV remained at the scene. Police are urging anyone with information about the collision to contact them at 905-668-3388.

68-year-old dead following Monday afternoon crash in Marystown
Police are investigating a motorcycle-vehicle crash in Marystown that left a 68-year-old man dead. In a news release, the RCMP said it received a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of Route 210 and Route 220 in Marystown around 4:15 p.m. N.T. on Monday. Police say the motorcycle driver was travelling north on Route 210 when it struck an SUV turning left from Route 220. Both drivers were transported to Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre for treatment. "The man who was operating the motorcycle died in hospital. The driver of the SUV sustained non-life threatening injuries," the RCMP said. The investigation, which includes the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, is ongoing.
