Mango Festival 2025 shows UAE farming is bearing fruit in global market
29 June 2025 23:42 Sharjah (ALETIHAD)The Mango Festival 2025, which was held at Expo Khorfakkan over the weekend, highlighted the growth of the UAE's mango farming sector in the global market. Held under the theme 'Mango: Our Fruit, Our Wealth', the three-day festival was organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), in collaboration with the Municipal Council of Khorfakkan and Khorfakkan City 4th edition of the event featured the participation of more than 33 farmers and several companies specialising in agriculture and fertilisation. This proves that cultural preservation can serve as a strong catalyst for sustainable growth and economic development. Mango Festival opens doors to visitors in its 4th edition

The opening was attended by local officials, dignitaries, residents of the Eastern Region, as well as participating farmers, specialised companies, and productive families. Festival Sees Growing Interest and Public Engagement In remarks to 'Sharjah 24,' Al Awadi explained that the festival continues to evolve each year, and the 4th edition has witnessed a strong turnout from visitors eager to discover the wide variety of mangos on display. He noted that the mango tree is considered a blessed one, and it holds a special place among locals, who are keen to purchase its fruit.
