Pop up shop selling second hand designer dresses to open in Wexford to raise funds for Palestine

The pop up shop will sell second hand designer dresses, men's jeans, books, shoes and much more. The event will take place from 11am and finish at 5pm. Honor Heffernan, treasurer of the IPSC group based in north Wexford shared the group was inspired to organise their own pop up shop following the New Ross group. 'I said to our gang here in Gorey, it would be a brilliant idea. So, we just picked the date, got the venue and then realised the Market House festival is on the same weekend. So, it's going to be mad, its perfect in a way because there will be lots of people around.' 'We just thought it was a brilliant idea, like we have loads of things between us all. I have a friend whose whole wardrobe full of silk designer dresses. People are coming out with great things' she explained. Honor Heffernan has been involved with the IPSC since 2014. 'Since then, I've been involved all the time and of course, even as a human being, you can't look at hats going on and think it's all right. 'I support Palestine, and their right to exist' she added. All funds raised will go to various supports including Dr Sair Alden, a vet in Gaza who takes care of donkeys travelling families to hospitals, the fundraiser 'Children not Numbers' and to evacuees and families in Ireland. The IPSC group has been hosting weekly vigils every Wednesday on the Main Street in Gorey to show support for Palestine.
