Three arrested for murder of history-sheeter in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: The Kukatpally police arrested three people in connection with a murder case reported at Prakash Nagar in Kukatpally. According to the police, Syed Shahed (26), a history-sheeter, was stabbed and bludgeoned to death late on Sunday. The arrested were identified as Y Hanak alias Munna (25), Md Sameer Khan alias Dagad Sameer (25), both residents of Borabanda and Md Sajid (24) of Moulali. They were produced before a local court and remanded in judicial custody on Wednesday. According to Balanagar DCP K Suresh Kumar, the trio were once close associates of Shahed but conspired to eliminate him due to personal rivalry. After ensuring that Shahed was drunk, Sajid slit his throat with a broken beer bottle while Munna bludgeoned his head with boulders, killing him on the spot,' Kukatpally inspector P Rajesh said. The police team scoured through the CCTV footage and mobile phone records to zero in on the accused. They recovered the clothes worn during the attack, four mobile phones, liquor bottles and the boulders used in the crime. Among the accused, Sameer, also a history-sheeter, has several cases registered against him, including theft, cheating, harassment and a murder case at different police stations across the city.

The much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3 is officially back on track with its original trio – Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty – reuniting for what is being touted as one of Indian cinema's most iconic comedy franchises. After initially exiting the project in May 2025, Paresh Rawal has now confirmed his return, sparking excitement among fans. In an interview with Pinkvilla, producer Firoz Nadiadwala shared how several key industry figures played a pivotal role in resolving the differences that had stalled the project. 'With love, respect, and kind guidance of my brother Sajid Nadiadwala, and also Mr. Ahmed Khan, Hera Pheri family is back together. My brother, Sajid put in a lot of personal time and efforts, over several days to resolve the matter. We have a bond of over 50 years," he said. Firoz also praised director Ahmed Khan for his dedication, stating, 'Ahmed too put in a lot of personal efforts. So it is with the love and guidance of Sajid and Ahmed, that everything is now productive and positive." Importantly, Akshay Kumar played a key role in making things right. 'We also have Akshay ji's support. We both have shared a very good bond since 1996. He was very kind, loving, and affectionate in the entire process of sorting the issues," Firoz revealed. He added that Priyadarshan, who is returning to direct the third installment, as well as Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, were all supportive of the film coming together again. A source close to the development told Pinkvilla that Sajid Nadiadwala initiated the reconciliation process for the greater good, and Akshay Kumar, known for his long-standing friendship with Sajid, didn't hesitate to come on board and smoothen things out. In a recent chat with Siddharth Kannan, Esha Gupta recalled how Sajid verbally abused her and how she retaliated to his misconduct. Esha revealed she nearly walked out of the film, but the producer apologised to her and made her stay. Eventually, Sajid Khan also apologised to her for the abuse. Esha Gupta said, 'I had a fight. Sajid Khan and I were not at all on the same page, and we ended up having a proper fight. It happened once, and after that, things were never the same. See, I don't like people abusing me. You should always treat people the way you want them to treat you. It's that simple. Unhone mujhe gaali di… phir maine bhi di (He abused me, and in return, I also abused him)." Esha said she wanted to opt out of the film and had taken a firm decision, but the producer's apology led her to change her mind. 'I walked out of the set. I went home. I didn't stay. I had also made up my mind to exit the film. But it was the producer who apologised first, even before Sajid did." When asked what led to their fight on the set, she said, 'Kuch log baat karne se pehle sochte nahi hai… frustrated hote hai (Some people don't think before they speak… they're frustrated for many reasons). I don't want to talk about that because I've moved on from it." When asked if Sajid's misconduct towards her was related to the #MeToo allegations levelled against him, Esha clarified that this was not the case. 'No, that way I'll give him credit. That's why one newspaper, very early on, had wrongly added my name to Sajid Khan's dating history, and I made sure they apologised to me for that," she said. The actor added, 'I've never said anything in relation to MeToo about Sajid. In fact, when those allegations started coming out, someone even added my name to the list of people who accused him. I said, 'No.' Dekhiye, jahan jisne jo galti ki hai woh bolo (Look, whoever has made a mistake, call them out for that)." 'Like I'm openly saying now that he abused me.
