Sam Thompson reveals he is 'not ready' for a relationship after Samie Eilishi split as his sister encourages him to go for someone 'classy'
Sam Thompson has revealed that he is 'not ready' to date again following his split from Samie Eilishi as he opened up in a new podcast released on Wednesday. The 32-year-old TV star's romance with the Love Island personality, 25, was said to have 'fizzled out' after two-months together, MailOnline revealed over the weekend. And now the former Made In Chelsea star has told how his sister Louise has weighed in on his love life as she hopes he finds someone 'classy' or 'well to do'. Speaking to his best pal Pete Wicks on their podcast Staying Relevant, Sam opened up about his recent break up as he admitted he will not be dating again anytime soon. He said: 'Louise thinks I should go out with Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in Harry Potter '. Laughing, Pete replied: 'I think you have more chance with the ginger fella'. 'Ron! No, Louise thinks I should go for British thespian because she thinks its a little different, classy is the wrong word, but well to do', Sam added. Pete joked: 'Opposites attract, she wants you to go out with someone opposite to even you out.' Confirming he won't be dating for a while, Sam bluntly confirmed: 'No, I'm going to work on myself. No dating, I'm not ready and I've realised that'. He started dating Samie in April and the couple were later spotted passionately kissing after attending Olivia Attwood 's birthday party. It was his first public relationship since his separation from girlfriend of five years Zara McDermott, 28, who is now with One Direction singer, Louis Tomlinson. A source confirmed that the pair decided against taking their romance any further due to their busy work schedules, which in recent weeks has seen Sam raise over £1.6million for charity UNICEF after he conquered a 260-mile endurance challenge. The former I'm A Celeb winner said taking part in the mammoth task, where he transported the Soccer Aid match ball from last year's stadium, London's Stamford Bridge in London, to this year's venue, Old Trafford in Manchester, gave him the focus he needed to overcome a difficult start to 2025. Meanwhile, Samie, who Sam had introduced to close friend and Staying Relevant co-host Pete Wicks, has been jet setting with various brands following her stint on Love Island: All Stars earlier this year, including to Mykonos, Greece, with Space NK. A source told MailOnline: 'Sam and Samie's romance just fizzled out, there was so much attraction between them initially, but their busy schedules made it difficult for them to spend quality time together. 'For Sam, it was his first relationship since his split from Zara and the feeling is he would rather concentrate on work before getting into another long-term commitment.' Sam's split from Samie follows his sister Louise previously sharing her take on who she believes he should date. Speaking on the Staying Relevant podcast from earlier this month, Louise said: 'I would love for you to try dating someone that has a normal job, outside of the media space, I think that could be exciting. 'You definitely need someone that slightly puts you in your place who's going to talk back to you and not let you get away with everything. It can't just be Sam's way or the highway in a relationship.' Louise added: 'And look, if you're going to go down the fame route can you just find someone that I would get along with, I'm thinking young, British actress, like Emma Watson.' The former Chelsea star's comments on the podcast provoked one fan to say she 'never really liked Zara.' But Louise hit back, saying: 'I have to interject here. I actually really adored Zara.' MailOnline has contacted Sam and Samie's representatives for comment. It comes after Zara opened up about her split from Sam for the first time, revealing she's found the 'non-existent drama' around the break-up 'frustrating'. Sam and Zara enjoyed five years together, with much of their romance documented on Made In Chelsea, but Zara swiftly moved on wit Louis. Zara and her new flame seemed smitten as they enjoyed dates and romantic getaways before Louis and Sam came face-to-face for the first time at Soccer Aid earlier this month. A seemingly awkward interaction ensued, with Louis reportedly blanking Sam following the match at Old Trafford despite holding 'peace talks' at the team hotel earlier. The woman at the centre of the drama was however nowhere to be seen, with Zara now admitting the reaction to her love life has been 'frustrating'. Addressing their pitch-side run-in, Zara told The Sun: 'The only thing in my life worth writing about is the work I do.' The star also revealed that, despite still posting glamorous snaps to her Instagram, she no longer spends much time on social media and is more grounded in her 'relationships'. 'I don't care about social media as much as I used to, or about the aesthetic or the image, I value so much real relationships and real support around me, and being that to other people,' she added. 'I'm a totally different person to the one I was when I was 21 years old and stepped into what appeared to be a glitzy world of showbiz, my day to day life is not at all glitz and glamour.'

Love Island's Samie stuns in a bikini as she soaks up the sun after Sam Thompson split
LOVE Island beauty Samie Elishi looked sensational in a blue bikini on her girlie getaway to Ibiza. The ITV2 show alum chose her printed strappy swim top and matching bottoms for her day out on the White Isle. 8 8 8 8 Samie, 25, who The Sun revealed had split with Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson last week, looked sensational as she modelled her two-piece while perched on a chair just a day after posing on-board a boat. This time around, back on solid ground, she pulled on a straw hat to protect herself from the beating sunshine and accessorised with a chunky blue choker. She kept her make-up natural, with her brunette locks brushing over her shoulders in wispy waves as she took her snaps from different angles. Later in the evening, Samie switched to a stunning floor-length dress which she captured in a gallery on her Instagram grid. Alongside the images she wrote: "Lady in red."
