Abhinaya Krishna's directorial debut ‘Kamakhya' officially launched
The upcoming thriller Kamakhya, directed by Abhinaya Krishna, was officially launched in a grand ceremony today. Featuring Samaira, Samuthirakani, and Abhirami in lead roles, the film is being produced by Vaddepalli Sri Vaninath and Yashwanth Raj under My Film Productions Pvt. Ltd. Former MP Madhuyashki Goud graced the event as the chief guest, applauding the film's opening scene. The launch saw the enthusiastic participation of the entire cast and crew. Director Abhinaya Krishna has crafted a gripping narrative with intriguing thriller elements. The film also features Anand, Sharanya Pradeep, Vaishnav, Dhanraj, Raghava, and Aishwarya in pivotal roles. With music by Gyani and cinematography by Ramesh Kushender Reddy, the technical team looks promising. Bhupathi Yadagiri serves as the film's art director.

Karisma Kapoor and daughter Samaira were spotted at Mumbai airport. While Karisma posed briefly, Samaira tried to avoid the paparazzi and turned away from cameras. Karisma Kapoor was snapped at the Mumbai airport on July 20, accompanied by her daughter Samaira as the two returned to the city. Videos of them coming out of the airport are now all over social media. The mother-daughter duo was seen looking smart in all-black outfits. Meanwhile, her daughter was also seen twinning with her mother in a comfy tracksuit. Samaira appeared to ignore the paps as she walked away from her mother and later turned her face away from the cameras when they tried to capture her. While Samaira and Karisma came out together, her son Kiaan was waiting for them in the car. Earlier, Karisma Kapoor, along with her kids, was spotted at the Mumbai airport. They were traveling to New Delhi to attend the second prayer meet held in memory of her late ex-husband and businessman Sunjay Kapur. The first prayer meet was also held in New Delhi. Karisma was accompanied by her children, Samaira and Kiaan, while her sister Kareena Kapoor Khan and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan were also present. Karisma was seen offering prayers alongside Sunjay's wife, Priya Sachdev Kapur, while Samaira and Kiaan also joined them in the emotional tribute. Sunjay Kapur was previously married to designer Nandita Mahtani. Their marriage lasted two years before they separated in 2003. He married Karisma in 2003. New Delhi: Business tycoon and Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband Sunjay Kapur died after suffering a heart attack during a polo match in England on June 12. He was 53. Following his death, his third wife Priya Sachdev's old interview has re-surfaced online where she spoke about her relationship with Karisma and Sunjay's children Samaira and Kiaan Kapoor. What's Happening Speaking on the YouTube channel Kin and Kindness, Priya Sachdev explained the family dynamics after her daughter Safira (from her previous marriage to hotelier and actor Vikram Chatwal) had moved in with them. "It wasn't easy because he would tell me that these are the rules of my house and Safira should follow them, and I asked him [Sunjay] to talk to her directly and build their own relationship, which they did. They have a beautiful relationship now and are very close," Priya said back then. Speaking about her relationship with Karisma's children, Priya shared, "We have four children - Samaira, the oldest, then Safira, Kiaan, and my and Sunjay's son, Azarias. It's a blended family. Businessman Sunjay Kapur, Karisma Kapoor's former husband, was laid to rest today (June 19). The last rites were held in New Delhi, and the funeral marked the attendance of his family and close ones. Karisma and their kids, Samaira and Kiaan, were also present during the gathering. A few pictures from the site have surfaced that show the boy getting emotional as he bids farewell to his father. Kiaan broke down in tears as he mourned the loss of his father. He was dressed in a white ensemble. As he gets emotional and cries inconsolably during the last rites, the Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress was seen offering support to him. In the frame, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are also visible, who were also present at the funeral. The pictures from the cremation site show a canopy of long garlands of white flowers, symbolizing purity and peace. It surrounded a raised platform, which is likely where the late industrialist's body was placed for the people to pay their last respects. As evident from the pictures, a large crowd attended the funeral to honor and bid a final goodbye to him. Earlier in the day, Karisma and her kids were clicked leaving for Delhi. Kareena was also spotted departing. For the unversed, Sunjay Kapur reportedly died because of a heart attack after he swallowed a bee during a polo game.
