Protest disrupts public hearing event at LMC

Lucknow: A section of corporators disrupted the 'Sambhav-Jansunwayi' public hearing programme at the LMC office on second consecutive day on Tuesday demanding explanation for commissioner 's continued absence from civic engagements. Some also accused the administration of deliberately ignoring public grievances. The corporators described it as repeated disregard for elected representatives. Additional officials were deployed to intervene and restore order, but tensions remained high throughout the day. A senior LMC official said complaints received through the IGRS portal were addressed during the public hearing and forwarded to the LMC officials concerned.
