Love Island stars to feature as part of Powys pub's show week line-up
It's July, which means the Royal Welsh Show is right around the corner, which in turn means the popular Builth boozer is busy preparing a star-studded line-up to entertain showgoers this summer. And punters won't be disappointed with the list of special guests revealed so far – which includes Ultrabeat, who had a smash hit in 2003 with its cover of 'Pretty Green Eyes', originally recorded by Force & Styles in the mid-90s. Sammy Root and Nicole Samuel, of Love Island fame, will also be appearing, as well as a host of DJs to keep everyone entertained. The town centre pub announced its line-up in a series of tantalising Facebook posts throughout June – while landlord Rory Owen remains tight-lipped on who else will or could be appearing. 'Dance legend Ian Redman of Ultrabeat – famous for the UK smash hit Pretty Green Eyes' – will be bringing the energy to Builth Wells for one unmissable night,' said the White Horse on its page. 'Expect a high-energy, genre-bending set full of clubland classics, bounce and house anthems, alongside the electric presence of MC Cover.' The duo will be performing at the pub on Wednesday night, July 23, traditionally one of the two biggest nights of the week. The festivities kick off on Saturday, July 19, with Sammy, of Love Island All Stars and the Love Island series 10 winner, also known for The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) appearing, while Ryan Arnold will be behind the decks. Crowd favourite Danny T will be in charge on Sunday night, while Love Island 2024 runner-up Nicole will feature on Monday, alongside rising Australian DJ and producer Ely Oaks. Twin DJ duo Altego will be spinning tracks on Tuesday, while Ian Davies, resident DJ at the White Horse for the last decade, is back and will be warming you up every night. More big names could be added as we get closer to show week, with the event itself taking place over the bridge at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd from Monday-Thursday, July 21-24. After hosting TOWIE icon Joey Essex two years ago and legendary glamour model Jordan, aka Katie Price, last year, 2025 has lots to live up to. 'What's coming… is bigger than you think,' added the White Horse. Entry to the pub is free all week. "It's not a straightforward split, viewers will see how Elma and Sammy navigate their feelings on Towie, as they discuss their issues to see whether they can make their relationship work going forward. The insider said that the pair, who are currently filming the new series of Towie, will have many heart-to-hearts on camera that will reveal the reasons behind their break-up. LOVE ISLAND JOURNEY The pair got together on Love Island All Stars, where they made it to the final. At the time, Elma revealed why she thought her relationship with Sammy was going to last after leaving the villa. She said: "We have not been in each other's pockets, which I think is very healthy. We have both gone back to our lives which is nice. 7 "We have still got each other - we speak every single day, and I met his family. "Our families watched us for the last few weeks and probably feel like they know us inside out so it is nice for them to meet us properly." Elma first appeared on series five of Love Island in 2019 but was dumped after six days. She joined Towie in 2022. Sammy won the 2023 series of Love Island with ex-girlfriend Jess Harding. A FOREMER Love Island winner is the latest to weigh in the war between Toni and Emily on the current series. Jess Harding won Love Island in 2023 alongside Sammy Root but had lots of opinions about Friday night's explosive row. 3 3 American Islander Toni and Emily clashed in fiery scenes with the former accusing her costar of being nosey on the ITV reality dating series. Following the episode, Toni was accused by Love Island viewers of bullying behaviour and Jess also had some thoughts on what happened. She took to her Instagram stories to say she did not like Toni's "b****y behaviour." Jess posted a photo of herself lying in bed with her hand to her temple and giving a side eye. "Ok what the hell, just because someone isn't your cup of tea doesn't mean you can cause a big drama over it?!" Jess began her caption. "Toni girl I loved you but I don't like b****y behaviour & pulling crying behaviour." Things kicked off when Toni - who arrived as the first bombshell of the series - got annoyed after hearing a conversation between Emily and Conor. She then complained about Emily to Shakira, who agreed with Toni's views. Emily accused Toni of talking behind her back and was warned by Meg that Toni had said she was being "nosey" and described her as "Little Miss Sunshine." Following their row, an exasperated Emily said she thought Toni was "just trying to cause a problem," and "she's f****g nuts." Toni hasn't had the easiest ride in the villa, and on Wednesday night she was almost dumped from the villa. She told MailOnline ahead of All Stars: 'I do feel ready for a committed relationship; I want a fella. I want to be with someone. To do Love Island again the second time round especially five years later now I'm so much older, to go in there with no actual real want to meet someone is very stupid and embarrassing. 'I know I want to go in there and meet someone. I am very open.'
