For those unaware of the rules, the 8-4-1 match begins as a four on four tag team match with the winning team immediately facing each other in a four-way until one remains. Indi was the popular choice but TNA picked Kelly because of her past history with Masha Slamovich. This decision feels rushed but they are keeping Indi and Masha apart as both are babyfaces. It was nice to hear The IInspiration's banger of a theme song. The 8-4-1 match seemed was okay at best. Hopefully, Indi Hartwell didn't get injure with the stomp she took. What to know about the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble
Sixty WWE superstars will compete across two matches Saturday night in Lucas Oil Stadium for a chance to headline the company's biggest show of the year. The big picture: The Royal Rumble is the official start of WrestleMania season, and the best annual opportunity for new or lapsed fans to see if they want to give WWE a shot. How it works: The Royal Rumble begins with two wrestlers in the ring. Every 90 seconds, a timer ticks down and a new wrestler enters. The clock keeps rolling until 30 competitors have entered. But don't expect to see all 30 wrestlers rumbling at once. Along the way, wrestlers try to eliminate their opponents by throwing them over the top rope. The last wrestler standing wins and earns a title shot of their choice at WrestleMania XLI in Las Vegas. There is a men's match and a women's match. Both matches follow the same structure. The intrigue: While lots of wrestlers declare for the Royal Rumble, most of the competitors and their order of entry are kept a mystery, making every countdown of the timer more exciting. Fun fact: The match can be a true test of endurance for early entrants. The record for the longest time spent in the match goes to World Heavyweight Champion Gunther who was in the ring battling for 71 minutes and 40 seconds during the 2023 event. The shortest Rumble stint goes to Santino Marella who was tossed out in just 1.9 seconds. How to watch: The Royal Rumble streams on Peacock at 7pm. If you go: Tickets start at $130 Go deeper: 15 wrestling-themed events to celebrate Royal Rumble week
