As per reports, it is believed that the Kaanta Laga fame actress was declared dead on her arrival at the hospital. Both her parents worked in the State Bank Of India. As both her mom and dad were working, she was raised mainly by her grandparents. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispecialty Clinic but was declared dead upon arrival. Much before the age of the Internet and instant viral fame, Shefali became an overnight sensation with the sensuous dance number 'Kaanta Laga'. However, her brush with fame did not stop there. A couple of years later, she made her Bollywood debut and shared screen space with not just one, but two superstars—Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar . Shefali appeared in the 2004 romantic comedy ' Mujhse Shaadi Karogi ' along with Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan , and Akshay Kumar. She stepped into the role of a dancer named Bijli. Although her on-screen time was brief, she was able to steal the show with her signature dance moves along with Kumar.
