Woman Sheds 20 Kg, Reveals 6 Brutal Truths About Weight Loss...

Namita Satheesh, a prominent Instagram user, has garnered attention for her significant weight transformation, having lost 20 kilograms. Through her social media platform, Ms Satheesh regularly provides her followers with practical advice, dietary recommendations, and exercise strategies aimed at promoting effective and sustainable fat loss. Her content is designed to inspire and guide individuals toward realistic weight management. On July 9th, Ms Satheesh published an Instagram post detailing the challenging realities of weight loss that she encountered. "I am sharing the truth because I have experienced these challenges firsthand and learnt difficult lessons," she stated. She further elaborated, "After repeated attempts and setbacks and experimenting with various methods including fat burners, weight loss probiotics, and crash diets, I have identified what truly works. I am now sharing this knowledge with you." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Namita • nutritionist (@namitasatheesh) Ms Satheesh outlined six fundamental truths: Time Commitment: She emphasised that reversing years of weight gain is a gradual process that extends beyond a few months. Patience and consistent effort are paramount, rather than an obsession with immediate results. Avoiding the "All or Nothing" Mindset: Ms Satheesh clarified that individual meals do not dictate overall progress. The critical factor is an individual's mindset, urging against extreme reactions to minor deviations from a diet plan. Accepting Demotivation: Acknowledging that sustained daily motivation is unrealistic, she advocated for building consistent habits and routines. These provide the necessary framework for progress even when motivation wanes. Ineffectiveness of Quick Fixes: Ms Satheesh strongly advised against relying on products such as probiotics, fat burners, juice fasts, or detox teas for lasting or healthy weight loss. She recommended focusing instead on wholesome, balanced meals. No Need for Extreme Restriction: She asserted that eliminating entire food groups or favourite treats is unnecessary for weight loss. The key lies in consuming these items in moderation, as excessive restriction can paradoxically increase cravings. Consistency Through Moderation: Ms Satheesh highlighted the importance of consistent healthy eating patterns throughout the week. Inconsistent eating habits, such as healthy weekdays followed by indulgent weekends, can impede weight loss progress.

For Satheesh, this textbook is a small part of a larger cultural effort. 'From the time of the Renaissance period in Kerala, whether through the left or socialist thought, even someone who belongs to the extreme right here tends to hold a different perspective,' he says. He reflects on how Kerala's educational leadership has historically worked towards inclusion. 'Right from Joseph Mundassery sir, the first Education Minister, Kerala's educational leadership, across the board, has repeatedly worked towards inclusion. It has consistently sought ways to bring together people from different walks of life, and to ensure that education is something they can engage with.' He also mentions the concepts of Gnanasamooham (knowledge society) and its creation. 'Through our work with the arts, we are trying to explore how to build such a society, one grounded in older forms of knowledge, artistic understanding, and cultural awareness,' he says. When asked what message she'd like to leave behind for students, Negha says, 'I hope they draw strength from my story. Love is what brought me this far. If someone can understand that love, they'll understand me.' There's still much to be done in education, employment, and beyond, she says. 'Even now, people want to reduce us to one issue — marriage. But we have so many other concerns. The conversation needs to move forward.' Negha reminds us, it's not enough to teach the world as it stands. The best textbooks help us dream of something better.

Couple found dead at residence in Karamana

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A couple was found dead at their house in Karamana on Sunday. The deceased are Satheesh, 52, and his wife Bindu, 44. Police suspect it to be a case of suicide. Satheesh was found with his throat slit, while Bindu was found hanging. Initial investigation suggests that the wife may have killed her husband and later died by suicide. Police said the family was facing serious financial issues. They had a debt of around Rs 2.3 crore, of which Rs 64 lakh was a bank loan which they failed to repay. Relatives said the house was under the threat of attachment. According to Satheesh's brother, the couple was found dead around 10 am. Bindu's brother visited in the morning but did not see anyone. Since it was a Sunday, he thought the couple was sleeping. Later when Satheesh's brother and his wife came to the house, they saw him lying in blood through the window. They immediately broke open the door and found Bindu hanging inside. Police have registered a case and started detailed probe.

Women Across and New Horizon School Bahrain Join Hands for "Beat the Heat" Initiative

In a heartwarming display of community spirit and social responsibility, Women Across, in collaboration with New Horizon School Bahrain, successfully launched their 'Beat the Heat' initiative on June 12 at a construction site in Umm Al Hassam. The initiative aimed to provide essential summer relief to outdoor workers who endure long hours under the scorching sun. As part of this compassionate effort, a variety of refreshments and provisions were lovingly prepared and distributed to the labourers. These included caps, refreshing fruits, snacks, Laban, juices, and freshly baked cakes, all designed to offer comfort and hydration during the intense heat. The event was officially inaugurated by Mrs. Vandana Satheesh, Principal of New Horizon School, who actively participated in personally handing out the refreshments. Students from the school played a vital role, working alongside the Women Across team. This active involvement aimed to foster a culture of empathy, compassion, and community service among the young participants. "We believe in building not just academically strong students, but socially aware and kind-hearted individuals," stated Mrs. Satheesh. "This initiative provided our students with a meaningful experience and a valuable lesson in giving back to the community." Sumithra, Founder of Women Across, shared a heartfelt message, expressing her admiration for the students' involvement: "Watching these young students serve with such sincerity and care was truly inspiring. They are the heart of a kinder future, and we are proud to walk this path of compassion together with them." Women Across extended its sincere gratitude to Mr. Sayed Haneef, Founder of Light of Kindness, for his presence and continuous encouragement. Special thanks were also given to Mrs. Liji Syam, Non-Academic Coordinator of New Horizon School Bahrain, for her invaluable support and coordination, which ensured the smooth and successful collaboration.
