Urgent warning ahead of Lana Del Rey's Glasgow concert
Lana Del Rey is set to host a gig at Hampden Park in the Southside this week. The pop sensation will perform at the Scottish stadium on Thursday, June 26. The 39-year-old superstar, from New York, is known for her megatunes, including Summertime Sadness, Young and Beautiful, Cinnamon Girl, and Say Yes To Heaven. Ahead of the event, ScotRail has urged concert-goers travelling by rail to buy their return train tickets in advance. They have also warned music fans that queuing systems will be in place at Glasgow Central before the show and at Mount Florida, the nearest station to Hampden, after the gig. (Image: Newsquest) Meanwhile, the travel operator has also revealed that extra carriages and additional services between Glasgow Central and Mount Florida will be in place for the concert. 'Mount Florida station is ideally placed for those travelling from Glasgow Central, with just a short walk to the stadium. We'll have more staff on hand to provide assistance and help guide customers when they arrive. 'We're doing everything we can to support travel to the event, including running extra services before and after the concert.' A ScotRail spokesperson added: "To ensure a smooth journey, concertgoers are encouraged to head back to Mount Florida station promptly after the event finishes. "Extra staff will be on hand to make sure everything goes smoothly, helping to direct customers onto trains and ensure they have the best possible experience when travelling. "

An email, which was seen by the Glasgow Times, was sent to fans heading to the gig outlining what items are prohibited. Here are all the banned items from the concert: Chairs. Professional cameras. Drugs. Flares/smoke canisters. Glass or metal/hard plastic bottles (including perfume). Flag poles. Selfie sticks. Umbrellas. Weapons.
