Mahweet undersecretary Hussein Arkadh highlighted the profound loss his passing represented, describing Badr al-Din al-Houthi as a beacon of guidance, an educator, reformer, and sincere mujahid who carried the nation's concerns and sought to revive its authentic values. Musa Sharaf al-Din, head of the Scholars Unit, stressed that the anniversary is an important educational milestone to recall the lessons from al-Houthi's life, which embodied a comprehensive school of faith, knowledge, jihad, and awareness of contemporary challenges.
