Verstappen says he would welcome Vettel having a role at Red Bull
Max Verstappen said he would welcome fellow four-times Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel back to Red Bull after the German spoke of possibly succeeding consultant Helmut Marko at the team. Austrian Marko, 82, a former racer who was blinded in one eye after a stone pierced his visor during the 1972 French Grand Prix in Clermont-Ferrand, has a contract until the end of next year. Vettel, 37, won consecutive titles with Red Bull from 2010-13 and retired in 2022 after stints at Ferrari and Aston Martin. 'It's more than normal that someone that has achieved so much with Red Bull, has been brought up by Red Bull (should return),' Verstappen told reporters at the Austrian Grand Prix on Thursday when asked for his thoughts. 'In a sense there's always a spot available, right? 'I think also Seb always kept a really good relationship with Helmut anyway, even when he left. I didn't know that of course they were talking but I'm sure that there's always a space for Seb in any kind of form.'

Irish trad three-piece Amble were met with an adorable surprise this week after a former student rocked up to their Fenway Park gig. The beloved band are currently opening for Hozier's North American tour, having gotten the chance to play at the iconic Boston venue on Monday (June 23). As if that moment wasn't monumental enough for the lads, lead singer Robbie Cunningham was met with a sweet surprise after one of his former students flew Stateside with his parents to witness the landmark event. Pic: Supplied Robbie was teaching at primary school level when he left to pursue his dream of touring the world, and it seems his former students are very much feeling his absence. Taking to TikTok to share the sweet interaction, the band wrote: 'Had a special little man at Fenway last night. A sign spotted in the crowd. Seb, one of Robbie's past pupils, flew over with his family to see the show. Thanks Seb! Tonight we row again! Fenway night 2!' In the short clip, Seb can be seen getting teary eyed as the rising star signs his poster, with the pair sharing a heartfelt moment and posing for photos. @ambleofficial Had a special little man at Fenway last night. Tributes were paid to 14-year-old Sebastian and his parents Swala Harding and Andy Moore after they were killed in a crash following a family holiday to Cornwall A mum, dad and son tragically died in a horror motorway crash as they returned home from holiday, leaving an 8-year-old girl an orphan. Swala Harding and Andy Moore were killed alongside their son Sebastian, 14, in the single-vehicle collision on Monday, May 30, as they travelled along the M5 between Junction 14 and Michaelwood Services. They had been returning from a family holiday to Cornwall with their daughter who was said to have "miraculously" survived the smash with serious, but not life threatening, injuries. A GoFundMe page, which can be seen here, was set up following the tragic smash with £16,281 being raised out of a £20,000 target as of this morning. The page, set up by Richard Hardy, said: "Andy & Swala's daughter is doing well in her recovery but it will undoubtedly be a long and hard road back to full health, both physically and mentally. "To help their lovely little girl adapt to her new future and help contribute towards the cost of her parents and brother's funeral, we're asking if people would help us raise some money to make her life that little bit easier. Tributes have been paid to young rugby player Sebastian and his parents. The Chesterfield Panthers, who Sebastian previously played for, said in a statement: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the devastating news of the tragic passing of three much-loved members of our Panthers family — Seb Moore, his father Andy Moore, and Seb's mum Swala Harling. "Seb joined Chesterfield Panthers RUFC at the start of this season, becoming part of our Under 15s squad. While he had spent much of his rugby journey with Tupton Rugby Union Football Club, Seb and Andy became part of our club like they had always been with us — respected by teammates, coaches and parents alike." They added Sebastian was a "kind, calm and friendly young man, always willing to listen, always with a smile, and always giving his best for the team." The statement continued: "Swala's passing is equally heartbreaking. Though not as closely involved at the club, it is clear how much love and warmth she brought to her family, and how deeply missed she will be by those who knew her. "Our thoughts and love go out to their family and friends during this incredibly painful time — especially to Seb's younger sister, just eight years old, who survived the accident and is now beginning her journey toward recovery. She has already shown remarkable strength and resilience, and we will continue to hold her in our hearts in the days, weeks and months ahead." A Facebook post from Sebastian's former team Tupton Rugby Club, added: "We at Tupton Rugby Club were devastated to hear about the tragic accident that resulted in the loss of two of our dear parents, Andy and Swala, and their son Seb, who was a player within our minis and junior sections of the club. "They have left behind a beloved 8-year-old daughter, and we are asking for your support by donating to the GoFundMe page that will help support this little girl on her road to recovery."

Andy Moore, Swala Harding and their 14 year old son, Sebastian Moore, sadly lost their lives in a single-vehicle collision around 9pm on Friday, May 30, while travelling on the M5 between junction 14 and the Michaelwood Services in Gloucestershire. The family were heading back to Derbyshire from a holiday in Cornwall with their daughter, who "miraculously" survived the incident, having sustained serious injuries which are not life-threatening, according to a fundraiser set up in their memory. A close friend of the family established the GoFundMe page, which has already seen more than £14,000 donated. The funds are intended to aid Andy and Swala's daughter in her recovery and contribute towards the funeral costs for her parents and brother. Following the devastating incident, Inspector Mark Vicary from Avon and Somerset Police shared his deep sympathies, saying: "Our thoughts first and foremost are with the child in hospital and loved ones who have received the most awful news overnight. A specially-trained officer will provide them with support at this difficult time." The police are now urging anyone who witnessed the event or has dashcam footage to come forward and contact them either online or by calling the non-emergency number 101, quoting the incident number 5225151145.
