PISQ students shine in FBISE SSC annual exam
Tribune News Network Doha In yet another proud moment for Pakistan International School, Qatar (PISQ), its students have once again demonstrated academic excellence in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examination 2025 conducted by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Pakistan. PISQ students achieved top four positions in the SSC-I Examination among all Pakistani schools in Qatar, showcasing the school's continued legacy of outstanding performance. The FBISE officially announced the results of SSC Part-I and Part-II on July 16, 2025. In SSC-II, PISQ students earned a total of 48 'A1' grades, while 31 'A1' grades were recorded in SSC-I. The school's overall pass percentage in SSC-II stood at an impressive 98.60%, with 214 students appearing in SSC-II and 250 students in SSC-I. SSC-I (Part I) Toppers – Pakistani Schools in Qatar: 1. GSEB SSC Supplementary result 2025 declared at gseb.org; check steps to download and more
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar, has announced the results for the Class 10 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) supplementary examinations. Students who took the exams can access their results on the official website, . In the main examinations conducted in March, the overall pass percentage stood at 83.08%. Comparatively, last year's pass rate was 82.56%. In previous years, the pass percentages were 64.62% in 2023, 65.18% in 2022, and a perfect 100% in 2021 when exams were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Bangladesh MHM School & College celebrates outstanding SSC results
Tribune News Network Doha Bangladesh MHM School & College has announced its excellent achievement in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination 2025, conducted under the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka. The school attained a remarkable overall pass rate of 84%, significantly surpassing the Dhaka board's average pass percentage of 67.51%. Out of 94 students who appeared in the examination, 68 successfully passed, and an impressive 14 students achieved brilliant results of GPA-5, including 13 from the Science group and 1 from the Business Studies group. Among these, 6 students earned the highly prestigious Golden GPA-5. New grading policy for matric, inter deferred
No complaints were received on the first day of the Board Secondary Education Karachi annual examinations 2016, where 100 per cent of the students scheduled to sit for the exams attended. PHOTO: ONLINE The implementation of the new grading policy at the matriculation and intermediate levels across Sindh and the rest of Pakistan has been postponed for one year. As a result, the recently concluded 2025 annual examinations for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and High School Certificate (HSC) will follow the old grading system. The Sindh Universities and Boards Dept has issued a notification referencing its earlier notification dated October 15, 2024, and the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen notification dated June 18, 2025. The new policy will now be enforced from 2026. Per the earlier policy, passing marks in all subjects were to be increased from 33% to 40% starting 2025. Results were to be issued through Grade Point (GP) and later via Grade Point Average (GPA). Under the new grading scale, an A++ grade will represent 95-100% marks and be termed Exceptional with a GPA of 5.0. An A+ (90-94%) will be Outstanding, A (85-89%) Excellent, B++ (80-84%) Very Good, and B+ (75-79%) Good. Grades B, C, D, and E will be labeled Fairly Good, Above Average, Average, and Below Average respectively. Students scoring below 40% will be considered as having failed, but the term used will be Unsatisfactory instead of Fail.
