Gang War Episode 7 of Trigger starts where we left off at the school shooting. Before getting to the school, Lee Do had received a call from Officer Jang with updates on Moon-baek's identity. Moon-baek was seen in all the addresses on the address lists, indicating that he has a hand in the gun distribution. At school, Gyu-jin points his gun at Seong-jun, but he does not shoot. Lee Do manages to calm him down and takes the gun from him. Moon-baek gives Lee Do a thumbs up as Lee Do consoles Gyu-jin. After the incident, Gyu-jin and Yeong-dung are arrested. Gyu-jin's mother breaks down when she him being led to the police car. Lee Do had told Detective Seo to arrest Moon-baek after the incident. However, Moon-baek soon disappears into the crowd. Lee Do remembers that Officer Jang had told him that Moon-baek's identity is fake since the Moon-baek who worked at the defence contract company was a different person. Lee Do heads home and finds a package at his door. There are also address lists with his name on them. After a meeting with other gang leaders, Seok-ho decides to back out of the deal with Moon-baek and calls Lee Do. Just then, Chief Yoon reinstates Lee Do before the end of the three-month suspension and orders him to join the investigation team. Lee Do meets up with Seok-ho, who tells him all about the guns found in the storage room, Mr. Kim and Jung-man's people lurking around the storage room. Seok-ho promises to cooperate as long as Lee Do helps him out of the situation with guns. The police officers collecting guns find out that another group of people posing as police officers have rounded up half of the guns from the delivery address. During a meeting with the superiors, Chief Yoon is ordered to hand over the case to the Joint Investigations Office, which is now setting up base. At a hospital, a nurse is bullied by other nurses because she graduated from a lower-grade university. The head nurse looked down on her and ordered her to give other nurses off duty for irrelevant reasons while forcing her to work their shifts. The discussion about ‌guns all over the news and the debate has started speculating on the legalisation of gun ownership in Korea. Moon-baek watches the news from the penthouse, where his team is still tracking the gun usage. More and more people have access to their guns. However, he is disappointed that no one is using them, wondering why there are no street shootouts or police showdowns. Chief Yoon is convinced that Moon-baek is responsible for the influx of guns. Therefore, he convinces the superiors to allow an investigation into his whereabouts. The joint team can look into Moon-baek while Chief Yoon and his police officers work on finding as many guns as they can. Meanwhile, Jung-man and his boys have a hold of guns. Mr. Kim tries to pressure him to attack Seok-ho, but Jung-man tells him to wait for the right moment. Earlier, Seok-ho mentioned wanting to take over Mr. Kim's businesses. Therefore, Seok-ho shows up and Jung-man's base with Mr. Kim's phone. He wants to access the phone's data for the list of Mr. Kim's clients, so he orders Jung-man to bring him Mr. Kim's fingerprints. Lee Do hangs around Jung-man's area because Seok-ho had promised to help him get to Mr Kim. Seok-ho believes that Jung-man knows of Mr. Kim's whereabouts, so he puts a plan in motion to make Jung-man bring him out. The following morning, Jung-man and his boys head out to dig out the graves. A detective and Seok-ho's team are on their trail, following their every move. Seok-ho plans to use the police to get rid of Jung-man. Meanwhile, Jung-man has his plan in motion. After digging the graves, Jung-man and the boys go to the public bathhouse, as it is their routine. Seok-ho's men force them out of the bathhouse, telling Jung-man that Seok-ho is waiting for Mr. Kim's fingers. A man exits the bathhouse heading to Seok-ho's club. Seok-ho also gets a text from Jung-man saying that he is on the way. The police surround the club, waiting to capture Jung-man. However, the person who walks into the club is not Jung-man but Mr. Kim. Jung-man's plan was to play Seok-ho and the police. He sends Mr. Kim to meet with Seok-ho while he ambushes Seok-ho's men sent to keep an eye on him at the public bathhouse. The Episode Review Moon-baek is not who he claims to be, and Lee Do is onto him. In this episode, the police are making efforts to find the weapons and stop the civilian killings. At the same time, the gang war has finally escalated. The hidden game continues, and this time it is about crossing and double-crossing. Seok-ho wants to use the police to get rid of Jung-man, while the police intend to use him to find Mr. Kim. Did Jung-man manage to outsmart them all and use the opportunity for a hostile takeover?
