Popular pizza restaurant launches Edinburgh Airport store
The restaurant is situated near Gate 16, with 160 seats and it will allow customers to order pizza for takeaway to take on board. It becomes the latest brand to open a franchise at the capital's airport, which is now part of the VINCI Airports network. Other new additions recently include Seoul Bird, Icons and Sainsbury's, while Brewdog has moved into a new larger premises. Gail Taylor, Chief Commercial Officer XAero at Edinburgh Airport said: 'It's always great to see new brands arrive at Edinburgh Airport and we know PizzaExpress is one that has generated enthusiasm among our passengers. A new PizzaExpress restaurant has officially opened at Edinburgh Airport, with customers able to take their pizza onboard their flight. The restaurant, situated near gate 16, can seat 160 customers and serves a wide variety of gourmet pizzas as well as a breakfast menu for passengers heading off in the early hours. Fortunately for customers, pizzas can be ordered to take away and take on-board. Edinburgh Airport welcomes new Korean fried chicken and street food restaurant
A new food and drink offering has opened in the departures area at Edinburgh Airport. Airport bosses have continued to upgrade the food and retail offering with recent additions including a second Brewdog bar and ICONS Sports Bar. Korean fried chicken chain Seoul Bird has now opened its first Scottish and airport branch, serving gourmet burgers, rice bowls and their famous friend chicken.
