A new format and expanded participation Speaking to Sharjah 24, Al Awadi stated that the 9th edition of the Al Dhaid Date Festival comes in a refreshed format, with the active involvement of local and federal entities, palm owners, and date producers from the emirate and beyond. For the first time, the festival includes a "Young Farmer Competition". Additionally, educational workshops have been organized to raise awareness about the significance of this blessed tree—the date palm.
