Man's body found in flat; suicide suspected
Prayagraj: Dhoomanganj police on Wednesday recovered a decomposing body of a man inside an apartment in Kalandipuram locality.
The deceased-- 32-year-old Shobhit Khare of Baghambari Road, Alahapur-- had a pistol in his hand and his head was blown off.
Police suspect that he committed suicide.
The residents of Mangal Vihar apartment informed police when foul smell started coming from the flat. The police reached the spot, broke the door and found Khare lying on the floor.
His identity was revealed from his Aadhaar card. He had rented a room in the apartment a few days ago and used to work in stock trading. Police said the body appears to be three days old.
