One of the most exciting events of the Summer, the 2025 Dublin Pride parade is set to take over Dublin city centre this Saturday, June 28.
It concludes the Dublin pride celebration and headlines an exciting day of events that include the Pride village at Dublin's Merrion Square park. It will be packed with fun events for people of all ages.
This year's grand marshall will be ShoutOut's executive director Ruadhan O'Criordain. While the Pride village main stage will be hosted by Phil T Gorgeous and Paul Ryder.
Here's everything you need to know:
Parade time and route
The parade begins at 12:30pm and will last about two hours. It will begin at O'Connell Street, continue to Eden Quay, Custom House Quay, Talbot Memorial Bridge, City Quay, Lombard Street, Westland Row, and finish up at the pride festival at Merrion Street Lower.
Road closures/traffic management
Full Road Closures
08:00 to 16:00: O'Connell Street Upper, O'Connell Street Lower.
06:00 to 22:00: Merrion Square South, Merrion Square East, Fitzwilliam Street Lower, Mount Street Upper.
Rolling road closures
11:00 to 16:00: O'Connell St Bridge, Eden Quay, CHQ, Memorial Bridge, City Quay, Lombard St East, Westland Row.
12:00 to 18:00: Merrion Square North, Merrion Square West.
Local signed diversions will be put in place.
Traffic on North Wall Quay wishing to travel west on the north quays will be diverted via Guild Street/Seville Place/Portland Row/North Circular Road/Dorset Street/Bolton Street/King Street North and Queen Street.
Traffic on Wolfe Tone Quay wishing to travel east on the North quays will be diverted via Blackhall Place/Stoneybatter/Manor Street/Prussia Street/North Circular Road/Portland Row/Seville Place/ and Guild Street.
Traffic on Sir John Rogerson's Quay wishing to travel on the South Quays to the city centre will be diverted via Cardiff Lane/Macken Street/Grand Canal Street Lower/Grand Canal Street Upper/Haddington Road/Leeson Street and Stephen's Green.
Pedestrian and local access will be maintained.
How to get there/public transport
Luas
On the Luas Green Line, there will be no service between St. Stephen's Green and Dominick from 10:00 to 17:00 approx. Trams will only run between Brides Glen and St. Stephen's Green, and between Broombridge and Dominick.
On the Luas Red Line, there will be no service between Smithfield and Connolly/The Point from approximately 10:00 to 14:45. Trams will only run between Tallaght/Saggart and Smithfield.
Following the Parade, normal Luas services will resume.
