Guru Randhawa Postpones Announcements Or Releases In Honour Of Lives Lost In Pahalgam Terror Attack

Popular singer Guru Randhawa has decided to postpone all upcoming announcements and releases for the next week as a mark of respect to those who lost their lives in the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Many celebrities have also condemned the deadly terror attack that occurred on April 22, which claimed the lives of 28 innocent tourists and left several others injured. Taking to his X handle, Guru Randhawan wrote, 'I am Nation first artist, Not releasing or announcing anything for next one week in respect to the ones who lost lives in #PahalgamTerrorAttack I love my country and will stand united with our people." On Thursday, Sara Ali Khan took to her Instagram stories and shared a throwback picture from one of her vacations to Kashmir. In the caption of her post, Sara called the Pahalgam terror attack 'barbaric brutality" and urged everyone to spread peace. 'Heartbroken, shocked and horrified at this barbaric brutality," Sara wrote and then added, 'Our heaven on earth – a place that felt so serene, peaceful and beautiful. Praying for peace and justice." We will not be silent 🙏🏻," she wrote. For the unversed, Lashkar-linked terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists in Pahalgam on Tuesday, April 22 afternoon. The incident killed around 27 people. Eyewitnesses told security forces that two to three men rushed in dressed in military fatigues, firing indiscriminately at tourists while they were enjoying the Baisaran Meadows of Pahalgam on horseback.
