MAFS stars confirm they ARE dating after splitting from TV spouses and months of rumours

MARRIED At First Sight stars have finally confirmed they are a couple after weeks of speculation. 5 5 Awhina had been paired with Adrian on the reality TV series, but it did not go well as they bickered for most of the time. While Billy seemed to have a strong connection with Sierah during his season of MAFS, their relationship also fell apart. "Obviously, we've got good chemistry and we do have a good connection. It's very natural with me and 'Fee',' Billy told Australian magazine, Woman's Day. 'Whenever we're together, we are laughing, we are smiling. We're as close as can be." Billy admitted that trying to start a new relationship after MAFS was "really hard." "Obviously I've seen Fee go through a lot and so it wasn't like, let's try and crack on. I don't think that's the right time to be doing anything like that,' he said. As for Awhina, she had no issues with introducing Billy to her seven-year-old son Landon. 'I introduced Billy to Landon around November last year, when we were still filming,' she told the magazine. 'They get on so well, Landon loves Billy.' The pair first set social media ablaze by posting pictures of each other getting cozy to their Instagram earlier this month. MAFS groom forced to deny cheating accusations after bride claims he had sex with another woman during show filming The pair enjoyed a cosy date night at a restaurant in Perth and snapped some very romantic photos in the process. Both in black, they posed for a mirror selfie that saw stunning Awhina looking forwards, while Billy placed his arm around her front and she held onto it. She said: 'I'll keep this one 🤭' as the caption, sending the rumour mill into overdrive in the process. Awhina shared a string of date night snaps in the carousel, as they enjoyed small plates and red wine while dining out together. Mafs couples that have stood the test of time Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby. The pair couldn't keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam's Doncaster home. Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau. Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December. Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: 'I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out - and excited for everything to come.' Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019. Owen recalled: 'I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work. "While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in. 'The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, 'Wouldn't it be funny if I signed up?' 'A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.' Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson. Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna's vegan lifestyle, the show's first same sex pairing are still going strong. They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod. Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: "We're not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship." The date night post comes after Awhina was spotted looking in a video looking glam at a horse racing event in Perth. During the video Billy made an appearance and she was inundated with comments from curious fans. Awhina captioned the video: "Our exes ate a plate of meat, but who really ate?" 5 5

MAFS Australia's Sierah breaks silence on 'people who caused me harm' in damning post amid on-screen fallout

Married at First Sight Australia's Sierah Swepstone claims she was "silenced" in the media during her time on the TV show and called out the people who "caused" her "harm" , in a series of new damning Instagram Story posts shared earlier today (12 May). The cast of Married at First Sight Australia season 12 have had limited access to their social media accounts for the past six months while the show aired in Australia and the UK. However, earlier today, the cast were all given full control of their accounts back. And Sierah wasted no time in taking to her stories to share her MAFS Australia experience. In her first Instagram Story she posted a picture of herself on her wedding day. She captioned it: "What I looked like at the start." She then followed this up with a picture of herself from one of the commitment ceremonies and captioned it: "vs what I looked like five weeks later." Sierah then shared two text posts, written in black and posted on a white background, with the following statement: "For me to look the way I did after just five weeks something had to have happened. Women don't break themselves down like that. I was silenced in the media because the truth was a liability. The people who caused me harm have controlled the narrative for long enough. I will speak soon." She then followed this up with the final statement: "Isolation is a recognised form of psychological abuse. It occurs when a person is deliberately distanced from their support networks - including friends, family, or sources of emotional or social support. "This tactic is often used to increase control, create depending and reduce a persons ability to resist or seek help. In emotionally intense environments, this kind of behaviour can escalate quickly and be easily missed - especially when there's limited outside contact. "Over time, isolation erodes confidence distorts perspective and makes it harder for the victim to recognise or escape the abuse." Cosmopolitan UK has reached to out to E4 and Nine for comment. Sierah was part of the original lineup of MAFS Australia season 12. She was paired with Billy Belcher. Their wedding went down very well and for the early part of the experiment it appeared as if the two were getting on and seemed happy in their marriage. However, as the experiment continued the pair's distance grew. Sierah created a friendship with fellow groom Adrian, which made Billy feel like he couldn't trust Sierah and from there onwards the connection broke down. Sierah also struggled with the couple's lack of intimacy and questioned whether there was a romantic connection between them. The couple ended up leaving halfway through the experiment. Sierah then returned along with the rest of the majority of the cast for the reunion episodes. During the reunion it was revealed Sierah had sent a number of unkind messages to Adrian about his wife/ex-wife Awhina and the rest of the group. Awhina brought the messages up at the dinner party, and Sierah then went onto claim Awhina had said several bad things about Adrian during her time on the show, including that he was "dumb". Sierah went onto leave the dinner party half-way through. MAFS' Carina defends Adrian and Sierah amid 'cheating scandal'

Married At First Sight's Carina Mirabile has defended Adrian Araouzou and Sierah Swepstone following Wednesday night's episode and argued that it doesn't appear they did anything wrong. The duo, who are rumoured to be involved in this season's 'cheating scandal', copped backlash on social media when they sat next to each other at the dinner party and were filmed secretly playing footsies under the table. Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle following the episode, Carina admits she is surprised that Adrian and Sierah's interaction has been interpreted as 'cheating'. In fact, she believes they were just friends and the camera didn't actually capture anything suspicious under the table. 'I never had any indication that there was more than a friendship between Adrian and Sierah and that little footsie thing last night, that was the first time I've seen it,' she says. 'Was it really footsies? I don't think it was. I went back and re-watched it, I had to rewind, and I was like, wait what? What is going on? That zoom-in was not close enough, I need to see some more evidence.' RELATED: MAFS' Carina reveals why the brides kept Ryan's X-rated comment a secret MAFS fans call out 'fake' detail in Adrian and Sierah's cheating scandal MAFS star reveals sneaky way producers create dinner party drama Carina went on to explain that the entire cast became friends while filming the show because it was a 'pressure cooker environment'. 'I think maybe it was a friendship to them and they were both able to feel comfortable to converse with one another on a banter level,' she adds. Adrian has since broken his silence about the 'footsie scandal' with Sierah and asserted that nothing was going on between them at the dinner party. 'If touching feet is cheating then I definitely would have cheated on Awhina [Rutene] with Ryan [Donnelly], Jacqui [Burfoot], Jeff [Gobbels] and Rhi [Disljenkovic] because they were sitting across from me – and Tony [Mojanovski] at one point,' he told 9Entertainment. 'If you're sitting at a table and you stretch your legs you end up accidentally touching people's feet. For me watching that back, I was so unaware that her feet even bumped my feet. He added: 'On my mum's life I didn't know she bumped my feet. There was nothing more to it.' Daily Mail reported last week that Adrian and Sierah formed an 'unexpected bond' after a night out during their first weekend in Sydney and 'stayed up late getting to know each other'. Their close bond eventuated in an 'alleged indiscretion at a dinner party' - which we now know was the 'footsie scandal' - and their respective partners were left feeling 'humiliated' and 'betrayed' when it emerged at the commitment ceremony. The publication also claims that Sierah and Adrian had an 'intimate dinner date' a few days later behind their partner's backs, and Billy felt 'completely blindsided' when the truth eventually emerged. An insider tells Yahoo Lifestyle that while Adrian and Sierah maintain nothing inappropriate happened between them, she is later accused of trying to continually pursue him after their initial flirtation. MAFS fans call out 'fake' detail in Adrian and Sierah's 'cheating scandal'

Married At First Sight fans were left outraged during Wednesday night's episode when they were given their first glimpse at this year's cheating scandal. Following a tense argument with his partner Awhina Rutene about their future in the experiment, Adrian Araouzou moved to sit at the other end of the dinner table next to Sierah Swepstone. Meanwhile, Sierah told her co-stars that she and her partner Billy Belcher barely spoke to each other during Intimacy Week and that she 'hung out with Adrian' most of the day. As the dramatic music built up and Awhina looked downcast, the camera panned down to reveal that Adrian and Sierah were secretly playing footsies under the table while smiling to themselves. 'How would the producers know to put cameras under the table and to conveniently film them? It screams fake to me,' one person commented, while another added, 'Why do they all of a sudden have cameras under the table?' another added. 'So set up - honestly,' a third replied, with someone else writing, 'Not very good actors, unfortunately.' While many fans argued that it was strange the camera operators would film under the table, others pointed out that producers would've known about their close 'friendship' and the fact they had previously 'hung out'. 'Sierah said she spent the day with Adrian. Producers must have known beforehand and when Adrian sat next to Sierah, they zoomed the camera downward,' one viewer theorised, while another agreed, 'I think people forget that these people have multiple producers or film crew with them almost ALL day. They know exactly what's going on'. 'Must have got wind of it before the dinner party and was watching them like a hawk,' a different user replied, followed by someone else who said, 'Maybe it was so obvious that the producer told a cameraman to zoom in on their feet'. 'It looks like anyone standing far from the table could see under it… If you notice, all they did was zoom in. Perhaps the camera crew noticed what was going on as they watched from farther back and then filmed it,' another shared.
