Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham 'tease Fleetwood Mac reunion' with posts

Fleetwood Mac's estranged lovers Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham have caused fans to 'crash out' with a matching pair of social media posts. The Landslide hitmakers have had a turbulent personal and professional relationship over the years, with the band's chart-topping studio album Rumours written at the time of their breakup in the 70s. The musical duo last performed on stage together in January 2018, with reports of a significant disagreement between the pair over their working schedule sealing the deal on their professional breakup. After bandmate Christine McVie's death in November 2022, the band seemed pretty set on never reuniting on stage, with Stevie focusing on her successful solo career. In a pair of posts made to Instagram earlier today the lead singer, 77, and former guitarist, 75, seemed to imply the almost decade-long rupture might finally be at an end. On Stevie's account she posted the lyrics from 1973 hit Frozen Love: 'And if you go forward' which comes from Buckingham Nicks' only album. Then, Lindsey completed the line with his own post reading: 'I'll meet you there'. There's no denying the two posts are linked in style, theme and timing – leading fans to the conclusion that a longawaited reunion could finally be happening. And everyone is spiralling. 'Glad I was already planning on crashing out today!' yogimagee wrote on Instagram. 'IM GOING TO THROW UP WHATS HAPPENING,' maddieshonholtz added. 'WHAT DOES THIS MEAN' stevienicksnation echoed. Some are sepculating it could mean just a Buckingham Nicks reunion while others think the whole gang could be getting back together. Regardless, everyone wants to see Lindsey and Stevie singing the 1977 tune Silver Springs together live on stage after it recently went viral on TikTok in a trend recounting the pair's heartwrenching romance. 'Forget FM for a minute, just give us a Buckingham Nicks tour please,' andymacphee comics declared. 'Fleetwood Mac reunion in 2025?? A girl can dream,' ahs_adn shared. 'Tell us what's happening before I completely crash out please and thank you,' mejennamarie declared. 'It feels amazing to be alive to witness the stars align like this, It was written,' drimaued shared. Whatever this is, a Fleetwood Mac reunion does still seem unlikely. In June 2024, Stevie told Mojo magazine: 'Without Christine, no can do… There is no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together in any way. Without her, it just couldn't work.' More Trending This doesn't rule out an onstage reunion between just these two or remastering of their record , however. Or it could just be their way of telling their fans that the hatchet has finally been buried – time will tell. In an interview with Rolling Stone in October 2024 she said about Lindsey: 'I dealt with Lindsey for as long as I could. You could not say that I did not give him more than 300 million chances.' Meanwhile, last year bandmate Mick Fleetwood added: 'Stevie's able to speak clearly about how she feels and doesn't feel, as does Lindsey. But I'll say, personally, I would love to see a healing between them.' Maybe his wish has finally come true. Got a story? The True Story Behind the Iconic Fleetwood Mac Performance Fans Still Can't Get Over

The True Story Behind the Iconic Fleetwood Mac Performance Fans Still Can't Get Over originally appeared on Parade. It's no secret that Fleetwood Mac's legendary Rumours album was largely inspired by the breakup of band members (and onetime couple) Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham — but the song that comes to mind for most fans today when they think about the notoriously star-crossed lovers wasn't even included on the record. While "Silver Springs" was written for Rumours, the track was eventually cut from the album (much to the dismay of Nicks, who reportedly screamed "bloody murder" when she heard the news, according to Rolling Stone) and released instead as the B-side to 'Go Your Own Way.' But in 1997, when Fleetwood Mac reunited to film their award-winning live album and concert film The Dance, they delivered an incredibly passionate version of the ballad that went on to become one of their most talked-about performances of all time. Years later, the unforgettable moment continues to live on in the form of countless memes and social media shares. In the now-classic clip, Nicks shared an intense look with her former flame as she sang the lyrics: 'Time cast a spell on you, but you won't forget me/I know I could have loved you but you would not let me." The energy between the couple grew even more electric as Nicks continued to sing: "I'll follow you down 'til the sound of my voice will haunt you/You'll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you." In a 1997 interview with Arizona Republic (via The Nicks Fix), Nicks reflected on filming the emotionally loaded moment, admitting, "In six weeks of rehearsal, it was never like that." "Only on Friday night did we let it go into something deeper," she explained. "When we went on Friday, I knew we'd bring it out in case it was the last thing we'd ever do. The other shows were really, really good, but they weren't the show I wanted to leave behind. This show was." "I wanted people to stand back and really watch and understand what [the relationship] was," Nicks said, revealing that she wrote "Silver Springs" to say, "I'm so angry with you. You will listen to me on the radio for the rest of your life, and it will bug you. I hope it bugs you." That same year, Buckingham gave his own take on the experience in an interview with Rolling Stone, saying, ''Silver Springs' always ends up in that place for me because she's always very committed to what those words are about, and I remember what they were about then." 'Now it's all irony, you know, but there is no way you can't get drawn into the end of that song," he added, with Nicks chiming in to say, 'When we're [onstage] there singing songs to each other, we probably say more to each other than we ever would in real life."The True Story Behind the Iconic Fleetwood Mac Performance Fans Still Can't Get Over first appeared on Parade on Jul 7, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 7, 2025, where it first appeared.

Walton Goggins And Aimee Lou Wood Break Silence On Feud Rumours

Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood have given a joint interview in which they addressed the media scrutiny they've been under in the last few months. The pair were co-stars in the most recent season of The White Lotus, but found themselves at the centre of speculation when it was spotted that they were no longer following one another on Instagram just before the finale aired. In fact, it even appeared that Walton had gone as far as blocking Aimee on the platform, although both parties had still been speaking favourably about one another at the time, most notably in separate social media posts, which were soundtracked by the Fleetwood Mac anthem Silver Springs. Walton then failed to join most of the cast at a viewing party for the White Lotus finale, in which both he and Aimee played pivotal roles. During a new interview with Variety, Walton put his absence down to his busy schedule as he had been filming the new season of Fallout. However, he told Aimee as part of their joint interview: 'I wish I would have been able to watch this with you. It was so cathartic and so painful, and I regret that. I really do.' Walton later added: 'There is no feud. I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me. '[She] is Goldie Hawn. [She] is Meg Ryan. She can do anything, and she will. You watch what the next 20 years of her experience will be.' 'We care about each other very deeply,' he added. The Emmy nominee also said that he'd chosen not to dispel the feud reports during a now-infamous interview with The Times because he didn't want to 'speak for both of us' when Aimee wasn't present. Similarly, she chose to remain schtum on the 'feud' reports until now because she felt anything she said would be misconstrued, instead opting to 'sit back and watch these people making something out of absolutely nothing'. HBO As for his unfollowing Aimee on Instagram, Walton put this down to wanting to put some distance between himself and The White Lotus once the show was over. 'I knew what we had gone through, and I knew how close that we had gotten, and I needed to begin to process saying goodbye to Rick and Chelsea,' he said, apparently beginning to tear up. 'And I knew that that was going to take a while for me, so I let her know, this is what I've gotta do. And she was extremely supportive about that.' It's noted in Variety 's piece that Walton had more of a personal connection to Thailand than most of the rest of the cast, as he went travelling near where The White Lotus was filmed years earlier after his first wife died by suicide. Branding the media furore 'ridiculous', he concluded: 'I'm emotional because we haven't been in the same city to ever talk about this. So for me, this is just so wonderful.' Variety noted that the interview took place on the first weekend of May, shortly before both actors walked the red carpet separately at this year's Met Gala. Since then, Walton's wife Nadia Conners has also spoken out about rumours of an affair between her husband and his White Lotus co-star, which she took in good humour.

Hoda Kotb Is on to Her Next Venture: Joy 101, a Personalized, Daily Wellness App

Hoda Kotb is back with her latest venture. On Wednesday, the former 'Today' host is unveiling the launch of her wellness app Joy 101. It is a personalized daily wellness platform that provides insights from experts, researchers — and Kotb, of course. The platform, which will be available to download in two weeks, will cost $17 a month or $99 for the full year. More from WWD West Hollywood Hot Pilates Studio Silver Springs and Aubrey Swims Release Bikini Collaboration How AI Is Actually Reshaping the Future of Beauty Formulation Wellness Podcasts Are Soaring on Spotify. Here, the Top 10 Shows by Popularity Specifically, it will include a daily wisdom from Kotb, expert-led courses on topics like brain health and breathwork, 500-plus sessions on a variety of wellness subjects, guided meditations and twice-monthly livestreams with Kotb and friends. The first livestream will be held on June 11 with Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie. The platform will also offer sleep support, movement sessions, community conversation, access to Joy 101's in-person retreats led by Kotb, which will kick off in the fall, and an annual in-person celebration called JoyFest and a personalized plan for each user compiling all of the above. Joy 101 also features a group of advisers including Good American chief executive officer Emma Grede, journalist and advocate Maria Shriver and neuroscientist and dean of NYU's college of arts and science Dr. Wendy Suzuki. Kotb's inspiration for the app started while she was at 'Today' when Bush Hager, her cohost, pushed her to try a breathwork session with one of her go-to practitioners. Kotb reluctantly tried a session on Zoom. 'After seven minutes, I exploded in tears. I was sobbing,' she recalled. While the emotional release was surprising and helpful, it was the after effects that impacted Kotb the most. 'It gave me this weird clarity. I remember I walked back to my apartment and I was like, 'Oh my god.' I was very calm. [My daughter] Haley even said to me, 'Mom, what's going on?' I go, 'Nothing. I feel great,'' she said. 'I was calm. I noticed that I had clarity. I had a great night's sleep, and the next morning at work, I was firing through my notes…. This felt like a big deal.' It was and is a big deal, as Kotb still practices this breathwork for five to seven minutes each day. From there, she was hooked and ready to find additional rituals that could amplify the results of these breathwork sessions. She and Bush Hager were on this journey together, trying other practices like meditation, poring over their results while on 'Today.' Seeing her passion for these practices, Kotb's friend Shriver recommended she try a retreat at the Hoffman Institute. 'She said, 'I've lived with nuns. I've walked with the Dalai Lama. I ate with Thich Nhat Hanh.' She goes, 'I'd trade my Georgetown degree for this place,'' Kotb recalled. 'I of course signed up… It was more life changing than anything else I'd ever done.' With these experiences and a passion for discovering new practices and experts, Kotb realized she was going to a variety of places and people to get the best of the best when it could all exist under one platform. Enter Joy 101. '[It's] like the retreat in your pocket,' she said. '[This] all came to be because of trying something once. It reminds me, my 60s is really about being a beginner again. That's what I'm doing. I'm beginning again, and it's fun. It's like, 'Oh my god! What a cool decade ahead.'' While Kotb started ideating what Joy 101 would be a few years ago, it wasn't always this type of platform. She originally played around with doing a summer camp for kids but quickly realized women actually needed the same type of attention and access to community. As Bush Hager and Shriver's suggestions inspired Kotb, so did many of her guests and women she has looked up to over the years. Kotb recalled one interview with actress Viola Davis that especially inspired her. 'I interviewed her and said, 'How would you describe your childhood?,' and she said, 'I was hungry…' She described how difficult and treacherous it was, and she also described looking at the TV and seeing Cicely Tyson and going, 'I'm going to do that,'' said Kotb. 'That's a very extreme example, but I think what people need is to see somebody doing something like Viola.' In her personal life, Kotb said she felt the same way when she saw Sandra Bullock adopt a child. She hopes to bring these same moments of inspiration to Joy 101 users. 'What this is doing is showing, in another way, women. Look at how different your life can feel,' said Kotb. 'You can make a change and a choice, and you can see how people who have tried it are feeling. Maybe it's something to look at, maybe something to give a try.' For Kotb, all of these wellness practices that she's picked up over the last several years have become daily non-negotiables. Every day she practices breathwork, meditation and her specific style of journaling. 'I write down body, intellect, emotions and spirit, and I write down what does each thing need today,' said Kotb. For example, she said her body may need a rest or a bit of exercise, and her intellect may need to read two chapters of the book that's long been sitting on her nightstand. 'There's my mini road map for the day,' she said. 'It's not a lot, and it's one thing here and one thing there, small things, but it gives you something that nourishes all the parts of you.' In addition to these habits, after years of middle-of-the-night wake-up calls for 'Today,' Kotb is an expert when it comes to sleep practices, which will be featured on the app. Her top suggestions include putting your cell phone in a different room before bed, and making sure the last thing in your brain is nourishing like a daily devotional — Kotb reads a daily page from 'The Book of Awakening' each night. She also keeps a notepad by her bed just in case she needs to do a brain dump before heading to sleep — for eight hours of course. As she launches Joy 101, Kotb said she will define the platform's success by its engaged users. 'Do you want 50,000 people who do a drive-by of your app every now and then, or go to a retreat or look at it online once in a while, or would I rather have 15,000 people who are like, 'I can't wait. When's the next retreat? Oh, you have a new course,'' she said. 'I want that kind of a community, as opposed to, 'Look how many people have come' because I think the people who come are going to want and need this.'
