SB19 dances to 'Soda Pop' by Saja Boys in 'KPop Demon Hunters'

The "KPop Demon Hunters" fever has now reached SB19! On TikTok, the P-pop Kings shared a 13-second clip of themselves dancing to the song "Soda Pop" performed by the fictional boy group Saja Boys featured in the Netflix film "KPop Demon Hunters." Meanwhile, fans and even Netflix Philippines can't help but gush over SB19's mini-dance cover in the comment section. "Does the SB in SB19 stand for Saja Boys? Ginalingan n'yo as always," Netflix wrote. In the film, Saja Boys—a boy band whose members are secretly demons—serve as the rival group to Huntr/x, a girl group who lead double lives as demon hunters. As if that's not interesting enough, the songs are performed by Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung of the K-pop group Twice. Lea Salonga was also credited as the voice of character Celine, a retired demon hunter who now guides Rumi, Mira, and Zoey in their journey as the next generation of demon hunters. SB19's 'Pagtatag' documentary to be released on Netflix

SB19's "Pagtatag" documentary is heading to Netflix! The film is listed on the streaming app's New & Hot menu with the release date of July 23. Directed by Jed Regala, "Pagtatag! The Documentary" chronicles SB19's journey during the era of their Pagtatag EP, the second in their EP trilogy. That period also saw them leaving their previous management, ShowBT, and founding 1Z Entertainment, their own company. SB19 had to fight for the use of their name and weathered canceled shows from their world tour due to the issue. "Pagtatag! The Documentary" was previously released in cinemas last year. It also had screenings in Hong Kong, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the Osaka Asian Film Festival in Japan. The P-pop Kings are currently in Taiwan ahead of their concert in Taipei as part of their Simula at Wakas world tour in support of their EP of the same name. SB19 is composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin. Among their popular songs include "GENTO," "DAM," and "DUNGKA." —MGP, GMA Integrated News
