The brave and rapid actions of an-off duty Kerry nurse helped save the life of an American man on Carrauntoohil over the weekend.
The man who was on a rocky ledge close to the Zigzag has been stranded on Carrauntoohil for more than 12 hours and was frozen, dehydrated, starving and unable to walk when he was discovered in the middle of the night on Saturday, June 21
