This includes OTT, satellite, and digital rights, making it the biggest deal in Vijay Deverakonda's career. Netflix Bags OTT Rights Netflix has acquired the OTT streaming rights of the film for 50 crore, indicating strong confidence in the film's content and Vijay's star power. The makers dropped the film's first look poster on X on Wednesday. The poster featured Siddhu wearing a black shirt and sunglasses. He is seen lighting a cigar while surrounded by cameras and mics. Siddhu Jonnalagadda was last seen in Bommarillu Baskar's Jack. The film also featured Vaishnavi Chaitanya, Brahmaji and Prakash Raj in key roles. Jack did not perform well at the box office. Despite its promising premise as a satirical comedy, the movie failed to resonate with audiences and had a short-lived theatrical run, barely making past its opening weekend. The film's commercial failure was a massive financial blow to the makers, whereas Siddhu faced harsh criticism for playing a RAW agent in a funny manner, reported Hindustan Times. In addition to Badass, Siddhu Jonnalagadda will also be seen in the romance drama, Telusu Kada. The actor will share screen space with Srinidhi Shetty and Raashi Khanna in the film. Directed by fashion designer Neeraja Kona, Telusu Kada is set to release in October 2025.

Siddhu Jonnalagadda was seen as the new sensation in Telugu cinema with big hits in the last few years. However, his last film, Jack, ended as a big flop at the box office. Later, we see him taking matters into his own hands, most likely as a leader, fighting against the wrong. The clip further showed the 'Arjun Reddy' actor performing some high-intense action in his next. These high-octane action sequences have been directed by three stunt choreographers - Yannick Ben, Chethan D'Souza, and Real Satish. Sharing the announcement video on his IG, Vijay wrote, "#KINGDOM July 31st. Worldwide. Let our Destinies unfold. A @gowtam19 story that unfolds like a novel to @anirudhofficial's genius score." Additionally, makers, Sitara Entertainments penned, "One man. A heart full of fury. A world that pushed too far. Now it's CARNAGE time."
