Shoppers grab 'comfortable' Skechers sports watch for just £13 in discount hack
Fitness fans are using this clever deal to snap up the tracker watch at a heavily discounted rate.
Everyone has their own preference when it comes to watches. While quite a few people have an analogue watch that is used for everyday wear or most likely saved for a formal event, a large majority of people have embraced digitised chronographs.
While there are many digital watches on the market, Argos is currently selling one that won't break the bank and may interest shoppers as it is from a well known brand that is not normally associated with watches.
Skechers is renowned for their comfy and practical footwear, and it seems that the brand is taking a stab at creating an affordable sports watch. Looking both stylish and practical, Argos is selling the Skechers Ruhland Digital Chronograph Sport Watch for £29.
However, shoppers will be able to get it for better than half priceif they sign up to money saving website TopCashBack. By creating a new account, shoppers will be able to drop the price of the Skechers timepiece down to £13.64 as they will be rewarded a £15 sign up cashback if they buy an item over £15 through their service.
While it should be noted that the Skechers timepiece is classed more as a basic watch, it is still equipped with everything a user needs for everyday wear, reports Manchester Evening News. The watch comes with a clear and bright display that shows the time in 24-hours, making it easy to read when outdoors.
Above the time, users will be able to view the day and date, while the seconds tick by at the bottom of the dial. Additionally, users can choose between setting an alarm on the watch or having it chime every hour. The black and red design will clearly make the watch stand out no matter if it is worn for everyday use or to bigger events.
As it is a sports watch, the timepiece comes with all your essential features, including a stopwatch that is accurate down to 1/100 of a second. The watch is further made the ideal purchase for fitness enthusiasts as it comes with a 50m water resistance, making it a durable accessory.
Alternatively, Amazon has reduced the price of the Suunto Core Sports Watch down from £129 to £99 in a limited time deal. With various functions such as date, time, alarm and temperature, this watch is also said to have a 12 month battery life when in time mode.
Debenhams has also been cutting down the prices of some of their popular digital watches. One of which is the Anthony James Limited Edition Speedster Watch. Normally £249, shoppers can now snap it up for the much cheaper price of £39.99.
For those who are interested in the Skechers Sport Watch, it has received some mixed reviews from Argos shoppers, with there being a review in every star category.
The five-star reviewer happily wrote: "I needed a decent non expensive watch and found it at a quarter of the price compared to other stores. Comfortable and hard wearing. Great buy!"
However, on the flipside, another shopper grumbled about the display. They said: "Could not see the display, unless you had it at the right angle. Changed it before I left the store."
Despite this, another reviewer gave more of a mixed review, writing: "Great looking watch, feels good on my wrist. Does go slightly fast after a week (I'd want to adjust it every weekend to have the seconds bang on) and the first one I bought ran slow by about 30 seconds after a short time so I got a replacement.
"Just for the look though, it's 4 star. It's everything I need and the strap fits well. Just be aware if you want more exact timing that you don't have to adjust you may want a cheap Casio or something."
