(Photo by Pascal) For years, Cardi B has been teasing her sophomore album and promoting it with single after single. The hip-hop superstar has scored multiple huge chart wins with both her own tracks and a variety of collaborations, but for quite a while, there was no word about a full-length. Now, the rapper has finally revealed that Am I the Drama? is set to arrive in mid-September, more than seven years after her debut full-length Invasion of Privacy took over the world. Cardi's latest single 'Outside' brings her back to the charts in the United Kingdom and earns the rapper the biggest hit she has managed in that nation in years. 'Outside' Debuts on Four U.K. Charts 'Outside' debuts on four rankings in the U.K. this week, earning its loftiest starting point on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart. On that tally, Cardi launches her latest tune at No. 15, scoring the third-highest-ranking debut. This frame, the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles list is dominated by 'Victory Lab,' a collaboration between Fred Again, Skepta, and Plaqueboymax, which opens in first place. Central Cee and Sexyy Red start 'Guilt Trippin'' at No. 8. Cardi B Charts Higher Than She Has in Years Despite being one of the most successful hip-hop musicians of the last decade or so, Cardi has not appeared as high as No. 15 on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart for several years. The last time she lifted to a higher spot was in June 2021. Four years ago, her smash 'Up' – which is set to be featured on Am I the Drama? – climbed as high as No. 7 and spent months living above the No. 15 position where 'Outside' begins its journey. 'Outside' Reaches Multiple Tallies 'Outside' also launches inside the top 20 on both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts, where it enters at Nos. 17 and 20, respectively. It's only been a little more than a year since Cardi appeared in a more impressive position, as her most recent single 'Enough (Miami)' just narrowly beat where 'Outside' starts this week. Cardi B's Huge Collection of Hit Songs Cardi earns her twenty-sixth placement on the main ranking of the most consumed songs in the U.K. this week, where 'Outside' debuts at No. 72. 'Enough (Miami)' only spent one week at No. 85, while her previous track 'Bongos,' one of several collaborations with Megan Thee Stallion, rose all the way to No. 35 and still ranks as her most recent top 40 hit, even though it was released in September 2023.

Fred Again, Skepta, Plaqueboymax Debuted a New Song on Twitch

DJ-producer Fred again.., streamer-producer Plaqueboymax, and rapper Skepta have premiered their collaborative track 'Victory Lap.' The song, which was originally crafted on Twitch, was officially released on Fred Again's channel today. From a room in New York City, Fred played the catchy lyrics: 'Shorty get freelance, now she a free thot.' Doechii is heard rapping the chorus on the track, before Skepta comes onscreen to rap his verse with a microphone. More from Rolling Stone Meet AMP, the Brat Pack of the Streamer Era The Botez Sisters Are Already Chess Icons. Now They're Ready to Go Beyond the Board How Pokimane and Fuslie Made Themselves the Antidote to Online Negativity 'The first thing he said to me was there's no reloads,' joked Skepta, before adding, 'New York City. I could see the Statue of Liberty just over there.' Fred then mixed in another song as Skepta started rapping the lyrics to a different song, before mixing in 'Victory Lap' once again. 'This one is disgusting. Absolutely dirty!' declared Skepta. Along with the song, the trio announced a pop-up rave at the Brooklyn Paramount later tonight, which will also be livestreamed on Fred's Twitch channel. The pair then joked about hosting a mini meditation as relaxing music started to play. 'We absolutely love you, New York,' Fred said. 'Best place in the world.' This is just the latest Twitch-related spectacle for Plaqueboymax, the New Jersey streamer who has become a key cultural tastemaker for Gen Z. When Rolling Stone caught up with him in April, he had been in London for a weeklong stream that included an In The Booth session with Skepta. 'When Skepta came on, he's like, 'Oh, what's this? Why is it moving so fast?'' Max said. Tonight's rave comes nearly a year after Fred's first stadium show, which he talked to Rolling Stone about. He and his team were intent on bringing an intimate feel to a large space, which made the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum the right choice for him. 'I think the challenge to me at the Coliseum was I really wanted to find ways that I could connect as much as possible to people in this vast space,' Fred told music writer Jeff Ihaza last year. 'Which is why we did that thing — Lucy and I call it the moat — we built this thing all the way around that I could walk along. That meant I could walk to the different stages.' Glastonbury - Saturday review: a day of political controversy (and some music)

Every track was received well, though the enjoyment is a little tempered by sound bleeding from other bars and dance tents near The Park, which is an issue that needs addressing. The band can't seem to tell though — in fact they appeared to have a great, if a little low energy, time. During Summer Girl, someone thankfully appeared to notice the sound issues and whacked the volume up to max, making things much more immersive. For this song, as well as fan favourite Gasoline, fans clambered onto each other's shoulders to get a full view. It's all very wholesome and calm, if even a little flat. It could be the hangovers, the sound, or the fact that everyone was saving their energy for Skepta and Charli xcx.
