Full list of 7 Sky channels being replaced this month – exact codes to find 11 NEW ones on your TV including Sky Sports
SKY has revealed that a total of seven TV channels will be replaced this month, with 11 new channels to appear in the TV guide. The British broadcaster is undergoing a shake-up, to give its service a fresh look. 1 Sky channels being removed Last week, on Tuesday July 1st, India Today (Satellite 523), which broadcast Indian news and current affairs, closed permanently, meaning Sky 's nine million UK customers will no longer see it on their TV guide. Music India (Satellite 711 - Sky Glass/Stream 715) was also removed from Sky TVs on the same day. Sky channel name changes On Friday, July 4th Sky Cinema Action (Satellite 307/851 - Sky Glass/Stream 307) temporarily changed its name to JurassicWorld / JurassicWrldHD. On Saturday, July 5th, Sky Sci-Fi & Horror (Satellite 311 - Sky Glass/Stream 311) also underwent a temporary name change, and will now be called SkySupermanHD. Sky Jurassic World (Satellite 307/851 - Sky Glass/Stream 307) was renamed Sky Action / Sky Action HD on Monday July 7th, reverting back from a temporary name change. And Sky Superman (Satellite 311 - Sky Glass/Stream 311) changed its name back to Sky ScFi/HorHD after a temporary name change. On Friday, July 11th, Sky Sci-Fi & Horror (Satellite 311 - Sky Glass/Stream 311) is set to temporarily change its name to SkySupermanHD. 11 new channels to launch As well as the name changes, Sky also launched 11 new channels on July 1st. However, the new channels will all only be available on Sky Glass/stream. If you key in 1001 into your Sky remote, you will now be taken to Sky Sports Classics. Discover new features on Sky TV that make it even easier to find favourite shows Number 1002 will take you to Sky Sports Vault, whilst 1003 will take you to Sky Sports Stories. If you press 1004 on your remote, you will be taken to Pick, and if you click on channel 1005, you will be able to watch Emergency 24/7. Sky Artist Of The Year can now be found on channel number 1006, and 1007 will take you to NBC News NOW. Sports fans will be able to watch the Billiards channel on number 1021, whilst food fans can tune in to the Great British Menu channel on 1023. A channel dedicated to the iconic Homes Under The Hammer can now be found on channel 1023, whilst Crime and Justice has launched on 1024. If you're looking for a new Sky deal, customers can get Sky Stream & Essential TV for just £15/month. What are Sky's early termination fees? SKY TV customers will incur an early termination fee if they choose to cancel their contract before the end of the agreed minimum term. The amount you're charged depends on: How long is left of your minimum term from the date your subscriptions end, calculated in days The days you have already been billed for in advance The products you subscribe to, the price you pay for them and when your subscriptions end For Sky TV, early termination charges range from £14.00 to £42.89 per month, depending on the specific package. For instance, if you cancel a standard Sky TV package priced at £33.82 per month with 12 months remaining on a 24-month contract, you would be required to pay the remaining 12 months' fees in one lump sum. This would result in a total early termination fee of £405.84.

Sky and Virgin viewers warned of three new channel changes hitting TV screens TOMORROW
SKY AND Virgin have issued an urgent warning to viewers about major changes coming to their channels. The huge change will arrive on our screens tomorrow and will see three channels axed and replaced. 2 2 Sky have announced that the first of the three channels undergoing a major change is Sky Fantasy (Satellite 306/850 - Sky Glass/Stream 306). The channel will be reverted back to Sky Family (SD/HD) after a temporary change. The second major change will affect Sky Hits HD (Satellite 303 - Sky Glass/Stream 303) which will be temporarily renamed SkyOriginalsHD. Finally, Sky Superheroes (Satellite 302 - Sky Glass/Stream 302) will be renamed Sky5*MoviesHD. Sky's channel overhauls will come into effect on June 16. The broadcaster regularly updates its channel listing depending on the season, with special festival channels appearing around Valentine's Day, Halloween and Christmas. However, several popular channels have been axed in recent years. Eurosports has vanished, with much of its content merging with TNT sports. The dedicated children's channel Pop Max and fan favourite Sky History +1 have both also left our screens. Fans were shocked when ITVBe was axed in June, though its raft of reality shows have already been moved to a new home. "This is inevitable, more broadcasters will cull broadcast/linear TV channels as viewers are flocking to streaming services," Paolo Pescatore from PP Foresight said. "The big TV switch off is around the corner, with all programming set to be delivered via the internet. "Viewers are now spoilt for choice with how and where they watch the TV shows they love across a range of connected devices. Four more TV channels to disappear from Sky Q boxes in days after secret overhaul & millions of users are impacted
FOUR fan-favourite channels will be disappearing this month from Sky which could leave millions of TV fans devastated. Sky previously announced that seven channels would be changed this month but that has been increased following the latest news as the company's secret overhaul continues. 3 Commencing on June 9, 2025, four channels are set to vanish as the company aims to give its service a fresh look. Sky Family will be temporarily renamed to Sky Fantasy on channel 306/850. Sky Pitch Perfect, which will replace Sky Comedy on June 7, will be reverted back into Sky Comedy on June 9, 2025. Meanwhile, Sky Blockbusters which was introduced as a temporary channel in July 2023, will be reverting back to Sky Hits on channel 303. After it was announced by ITV that their beloved channel ITVBe will cease to exist, the brand new - ITV Quiz - will take its place on channel 131. 3 This follows Sky already announcing that seven other channels will be changing this month. From Friday June 6 Sky Romance is set to go forever - now renamed to a different title. The beloved channel 302 will go by SuperheroHD, which is said to be a temporary change. Sky Fairytale on channels 306/850 was renamed to Sky Family on June 2, 2025 reverting back from a temporary change. Sky Karate Kid also had its name changed on June 2, again the channel reverted from a temporary change. The channel has returned to being named Sky Action on channel 307/851. Elsewhere, channel 310 which was previously home to Sky Pride has been renamed Sky Drama. That's Pride on channel 360 is now under a new name of That's Dance. These changes were revealed on a Sky Community page and fans expressed mixed opinions at the news. One fan said: 'Actually disappointed that the Pride channels aren't lasting all of June, or even maybe a bit longer than a few days.' Another said: 'Great about ITV Quiz channel launching 9th June, 'So excited. It will be interesting to see what day 1 will bring.' Sky already announced a major shake up to their system that affected all Sky Q and Sky+HD boxes. After a number of big brands have opted to leave TV services and stick to traditional radio plus digital listening - such as Magic and Absolute Radio at the end of 2023. 3 If you're looking for a new Sky deal, customers can get Sky Stream & Essential TV for just £15/month. Sky employee reveals secret TV overhaul coming in days that changes five major channels for every customer
A SKY employee has revealed a secret TV overhaul coming in just a few days. Planned changes to five major channels for every customer were revealed. 3 Each of the channels will be renamed as part of the service shake up that is expected to affect every customer. From Monday, June 2, the changes will start coming into effect with the final expected on Saturday June 7. According to the Sky employee four channels will have their names changed on Monday. A further two channels will have their names temporarily changed on Friday and Saturday. Sky Fairytale on channels 306/850 is due to be renamed to Sky Family on Monday June 2, reverting back from a temporary change. Sky Karate Kid will also have its name changed on Monday June 2, again the channel will be reverting from a temporary change. Found on channels 307/851 it will now be called Sky Action. Sky Pride on channel 310 will be reverting its name from a temporary change as well. This will come into effect on Monday June 2 and it will now be called Sky Drama HD. That's Pride, on channel 360, will be renamed to That's Dance on Monday June 2. Further changes are expected later in the week with Sky Romance, channel 302, being renamed to SuperheroHD on Friday June 6. This is a temporary change and the channel will have its name reverted at some point. On Saturday June 7 Sky Comedy HD, channel 308, will be renamed to PitchPerfectHD. This again is a temporary change and the channel will have its name reverted at some point in the future. The upcoming changes will be implemented for all Sky customers. Sky+, Sky Q and Sky Glass/Stream will all be affected by the changes to channel names. The list of upcoming changes was revealed by a Sky employee with the first of the coming changes expected in just a few days. Changes to channel names are made for a variety of reasons including for new arrivals, theme changes and rebranding efforts.
