2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 launched at ₹1.34 lakh, now gets dual-channel ABS
TVS Motor Company has officially launched the 2025 Apache RTR 160 in India, priced at ₹ 1,34,320 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The latest update to the brand's popular 160cc motorcycle brings meaningful upgrades in safety, technology, and styling, aiming to strengthen its position in the highly competitive performance commuter segment. The all-new 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 gets dual-channel ABS for the first time. The new Apache RTR 160 is now on sale at TVS dealerships across the country. The performance-oriented motorbike rivals other 160 cc bikes in the segment, including Bajaj Pulsar 150, Bajaj Pulsar N160, Yamaha FZ, Hero Xtreme 160R and other similar options. For 2025, the Apache RTR 160 gets dual-channel ABS for the first time, an important safety addition that improves braking control, especially in emergency situations or low-traction conditions. It is available in striking new colour options, including Matte Black and Pearl White, both paired with contrasting red alloy wheels. This move marks a significant expansion for TVS in the ASEAN market, with bookings set to begin on June 19, 2025. Built for urban mobility, the TVS iQube offers a real-world range of 115 km per charge, 0–40 kmph acceleration in 4.2 seconds, and a top speed of 78 kmph. It features a dual lithium-ion battery system and a 950W portable charger, enabling 0–80% charging in 3 hours. The scooter also boasts a 7-inch TFT cluster, SmartXonnect technology, geofencing, and Q-Park assist. This expansion aligns with TVS Motor's strategy to strengthen its global EV footprint. TVS Motor Company has launched a new variant of the 125cc version of its popular scooter, the Jupiter. Named the Jupiter 125 Dual Tone SmartXonnect (SXC), it is priced at Rs 88,924 (ex-showroom) and is based on the SmartXonnect variant of the scooter. Read ahead to find out the changes this variant brings to the Jupiter Jupiter 125 Dual Tone SmartXonnect gets two dual tone colour options, Ivory- Brown and Ivory Grey. The firm also claims that it has a newly designed seat, along with other design elements like the LED headlamp and diamond-cut alloy wheels present on the variant it is based on. It gets a fully digital reverse LCD cluster that can display call and SMS alerts, real-time and average fuel efficiency indicators, low fuel warning, trip meter and others. The suspension setup is also unchanged in the form of a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The scooter weighs 108kg while having a ground clearance of 163mm.
