Sunjay Kapur prayer meet: Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan offer their heartfelt condolences
Industrialist Sunjay Kapur, the former husband of actor Karisma Kapoor , passed away at the age of 53 in London on June 12 due to a cardiac arrest. He was reportedly playing polo when he suffered the fatal attack. His body was flown back to India, and the cremation took place on Thursday at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in Delhi. A prayer meet in his memory was held on Sunday at Delhi's Taj Palace Hotel. Sunjay is survived by his mother Rani Surinder Kapur, wife Priya Sachdev, and children Safira, Azarias, Samaira and Kiaan. His family issued a statement confirming the cremation and prayer meet details, which mentioned all his children, including Samaira and Kiaan, whom he shared with Karisma Kapoor. Karisma, Kareena, Saif attend prayer meet On Sunday, Karisma Kapoor was spotted at the Mumbai airport along with her children, Samaira and Kiaan, as they made their way to Delhi for the prayer meet. She was accompanied by her sister Kareena Kapoor Khan and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan . The family was later seen entering the prayer hall at the hotel, guided by a concierge. A video from inside the hall shows a large photo of Sunjay Kapur surrounded by floral tributes, as guests gathered to pay their respects. Another clip captured Kareena and Saif offering condolences to Sunjay's family. A look back at Sunjay Kapur's personal life Sunjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2003. They welcomed their daughter Samaira in 2005 and son Kiaan in 2010. The couple filed for divorce in 2014, briefly reconsidered in 2015, but eventually parted ways after a protracted legal battle, finalising their divorce in 2016. In 2017, Sunjay married entrepreneur Priya Sachdev. The couple have a son named Azarias. Prior to Karisma, Sunjay was also married to designer Nandita Mahtani from 1999 to 2003. Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of the Sona Comstar Group, a leading player in the Indian auto components industry. His sudden demise has left many in business and social circles in shock.

NOVELIC is exhibiting at the 21st edition of Auto Shanghai 2025, showcasing their 60 GHz in-cabin monitoring and 79 GHz 180° park assist technology in China for the first time, with live demos on the show floor. NOVELIC's ASPER200 is a 79 GHz short-range exterior radar module, meant for passenger vehicles, motorcycles, as well as commercial, transportation, and construction vehicles. The module covers a field of view (FOV) of 180 degrees using a single radar chip, observing an entire side of the vehicle with only one module. This technology fulfills the following applications: Park assist, fully replacing and outperforming present-day ultrasonic sensors Front, rear, and lateral collision warning Urban blind spot detection (BSD) Surround awareness with 4 modules, with object classification Kick-to-open Power door protection, with gesture control NOVELIC's in-cabin occupant monitoring module, ACAM, is a power-efficient and compact solution, using a 60 GHz mmWave radar to provide reliable, Euro NCAP-compliant child presence detection functionality. The module is also capable of seat occupancy detection, accurately differentiating passengers from heavy objects on seats. Another application the module provides is intrusion and proximity alert – the radar sensor monitors the immediate surroundings around the vehicle's doors, detecting movement and intrusions into the cabin. This low-power mode consumes less than 65 mW. This mode can work in conjunction with camera systems, activating them only when motion is detected by the radar, thus providing power savings. 60 GHz radar technology is also used for contactless vital signs monitoring, observing the driver's heart rate and respiration rate, ensuring the driver is well-rested and fit to operate the vehicle, while preserving privacy.
