Vincy Aloshious refuses to take legal route against Shine Tom Chacko: ‘My version of justice might not be agreeable to you'

In what can be called as a temporary respite for actor Shine Tom Chacko, his Soothrakavyam co-star Vincy Aloshious outrightly rejected the idea of pursuing legal action against him for alleged inappropriate behaviour on the sets of the film. Talking to the media after making her statements to the Internal Committee (IC) of the film, Vincy revealed that she can't say much about what unfolded in the meeting because of its confidential nature. She said, 'We have given individual statements, and we also had a sitting together. We have discussed a few things, but we can't disclose what was told in front of the IC. They will send the reports to the monitoring committee, and they will probably send it out.' Reiterating her stance about not following the legal route, Vincy Aloshious said that she understands many might not understand the reasonings behind her choice. 'There will be different perspectives, but I am not planning to pursue this legally,' said the actor, who also said that it was not fair for the leak to have happened. For the unversed, although Vincy didn't name her co-star, it was leaked to the public after the complaint was filed. Vincy also pointed out that it was imperative that justice is served. 'Justice is what is important. I am not sure if media would agree to that version of justice, but it was for me.' ALSO READ | Incidentally, it was a speech of Vincy Aloshious at an event that kickstarted this series of events. She had expressed her disdain over working with actors who are under the influence of drugs during shooting. Calling it unprofessional and dangerous, Vincy even mentioned a couple of incidents from a recent film shoot, including inappropriate behaviour. On the advice of a few, she registered a complaint with the Kerala Film Chamber, and the film's Internal Committee.
