London City Lionesses sign Aston Villa keeper Poor

London City Lionesses have completed the signing of Aston Villa goalkeeper Sophia Poor on a permanent deal. The Pride announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon. It has been reported that Poor has signed a three-year deal at Hayes Lane. Poor re-joins London City Lionesses following a successful loan spell with the club in the second half of last season. The 19-year-old provided some strong competition for the goalkeeping jersey. The youngster started out with Leicester City before joining Aston Villa. Poor went on to make three appearances for The Villans in all competitions. Poor is being tipped for a big future in the game and she will now continue her development with London City Lionesses. After joining London City Lionesses on a permanent basis, Poor said 'It feels great actually [to sign]. I want to break through into the WSL 100%. 'I want to play for this club. I think it's such a great club, I see the future of this club and I see myself as part of it. I really want to be a part of it.' Poor becomes London City Lionesses' seventh signing of what is proving to be a very busy summer transfer window.
