JYP Publishing seeks new talent
JYP Publishing, an affiliate of JYP Entertainment, launched a campaign to discover songwriters, the company announced Monday. It will host auditions for top liners, producers and trackmakers until July 23. Individuals or teams with up to three members can apply and will need to have credits on at least one published K-pop song. The company is headed by the label founder and producer Park Jinyoung alongside a slew of hit makers whose works include 'Time of Our Life' and 'Melt Down' from Day6, 'Talk That Talk' from Twice and 'Sorry Not Sorry' from Itzy. The music publishing subsidiary was established in 2008 and will be merged by the label in July as announced in April.

In a recent Instagram post, the star documented the time that she and her friends spent in Las Vegas ahead of her Memorial Weekend nuptials. Naturally, the then-bride-to-be dressed for the occasion by sporting a white silk minidress with flouncy, feather-trimmed sleeves from Lapointe. The carousel featured clips and images of the singer posing in her bridal-inspired frock while taking selfies with her friends. In the caption, Lovato wrote: 'Bach party day/night one (not nearly enough pictures were taken 😭).' Of course, new husband Lutes commented on the post, writing, 'Ya right ur my wife.' Lovato also shared a reel from the bachelorette, which saw her strutting across a hotel room with her friends following right behind her, as they all took part in a funny social media trend. The 'Sorry Not Sorry' singer captioned the reel: '2 Fridays ago when I was still a [fiancée].' The former Disney star went all out for her Santa Barbara nuptials, wearing five different looks throughout the course of the weekend. For her ceremony, Lovato turned to Vivienne Westwood for an off-the-shoulder, corseted pearl white wedding dress. And while her weekend looks featured a selection of Westwood styles, the singer diverted from the dresses by including one silk suit look from Lapointe—the same brand the provided her feathery bachelorette mini. Demi tied the knot with Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes on Sunday, May 25 in California and on the 30th, she got around to sharing the snaps from the first day and night of her 'bach party.' After several modifications and trials, the final gown made Lovato look ethereal. The bespoke gown by the iconic British fashion house was crafted from heavy pearl white silk satin and featured a structured corset bodice, a signature element of Westwood's style. The off-shoulder neckline and flowing silhouette was reminscient of 18th century classic couture, while the dramatic cathedral-length ivory tulle veil added a touch of tradition to the modern elegance. For the reception, Lovato changed into a second custom Vivienne Westwood dress—a sleek ivory satin column gown called the 'Audrey.' It featured a draped corset bodice and was adorned with hand-draped strands of broken pearls, which added a romantic flair to her big day. Letting the dress take center stage, Lovato kept her makeup minimal with a soft neutral lipstick and natural tones. She wore her black hair in soft, elegant waves, parted to the side-perfectly complementing her overall bridal look.
