Poole £29m flood defence scheme approved
A £29.4m scheme to protect a town centre from coastal flooding has been approved by a walls and ground-raising are planned along a 1.5km (one mile) stretch of Holes Bay at Poole, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council said the scheme would provide "robust protection until at least 2071, with future upgrades to follow".The money will come from central government and developers.
