Check Offers The 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS has been launched in India at ₹ 20.39 lakh, ex-showroom. With an increase of ₹ 2.44 lakh from the earlier model, the new bike brings considerable mechanical and electronic improvements to enhance the riding experience. Despite the higher price tag, Triumph's flagship supernaked remains more affordable than its key European rivals like the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and KTM 1390 Super Duke R. Here's a deep dive into what's changed on the 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RS. 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS: Design While the overall silhouette remains sharp and aggressive, Triumph has added fresh colour options to keep things visually exciting. Buyers can now choose from three colourways—an all-black stealth look, a sporty grey and red combination, and a more striking grey with yellow highlights. The 2025 model also features a new set of alloy wheels that are lighter than before, helping reduce unsprung mass for better handling. The wheelie control system is independently adjustable from the traction control, with more control over the electronics available for experienced riders. The Speed Triple is also now fitted with a steering damper for the first time, enhancing stability under hard acceleration or enthusiastic cornering. The Ohlins suspension has been upgraded to the latest EC3 electronically adjustable units, which allow on-the-fly tuning and better adaptability for Indian road conditions—addressing complaints about the overly stiff setup on the older model. 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS: Hardware The Speed Triple 1200 RS now comes shod with Pirelli Supercorsa V3 tyres, replacing the earlier Metzeler Racetec RR setup. Tyre sizes remain the same (120/70-ZR17 at the front and 190/55-ZR17 at the rear), but the new rubber promises better grip and improved performance on both road and track. This gain comes courtesy of a revised, freer-flowing exhaust system. The motorcycle's kerb weight has gone up slightly by 1 kg to 199 kg, but the performance improvements and lighter wheels should offset this minor increase. Check out Upcoming Bikes In India. Limited Edition Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX Breaks Cover
Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled a new limited edition Speed Triple 1200 RX for 2026. This version has sporty additions over the Speed Triple 1200 RS and is good enough to be called "the ultimate incarnation of the Speed Triple." Furthermore, it offers a more aggressive style and riding position with enhancements in the specification. To add to its uniqueness, the bike will be produced in a limited run of 1200 units for the global market. As mentioned earlier, the Speed Triple 1200 RS doesn't offer an upright riding posture, instead, it bends into shape to handle better specs. The footpegs are set further back, while the clip-on handlebars are no lower and demand your hand to be further forward. Additionally, the seat also comes in a different shape. Apart from that, the bike is adorned in Triumph Performance Yellow colour scheme and gets an Akrapovic silencer. Also Read: At its core, the Speed Triple 1200 RS continues to have a 1,160 cc inline-three cylinder engine. Triumph claims that it is tuned to put out 180 hp of power at 10,750 rpm and 127 Nm of torque while revving at 8,750 rpm. The power is transferred to the wheel via a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter. The suspension setup consists of the Ohlins SmartEC3 electronic semi-active suspension retained from the RS model, and the Ohlins SD EC electronic steering damper. The braking setup consists of the same dual Brembo Stylema monoblock calipers and MCS radial master cylinder, and a cornering antilock braking system. The pack of rider aid features includes cornering traction control, front wheel lift control, engine braking control, cruise control, and five riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport, Track, and Rider. In Track Mode, the rider has access to rake slide assist, which tunes the ABS to allow more front wheel slip and rear wheel lift.

Triumph is releasing a limited edition Speed Triple 1200 RX
Triumph Motorcycles is producing a special Speed Triple, dubbed the 1200 RX, of which just 1200 will be made. The limited-edition performance machine adds sport to what is already amongst the hardest hitting of the superbikes. Triumph says it sets a new benchmark for streetfighter performance and exclusivity. This is the most focused Speed Triple yet, building on the existing RS model. Standard are sharper ergonomics, more advanced tech, and race-inspired detailing. Clip-on bars and a machined top yoke are set 69mm lower and 52mm further forward than those on the RS. This creates a track-ready look. Footpegs are placed 14.5mm higher and 25.5mm further back for more precise handling on track. Meantime, suspension duties are handled by Triumph's top-tier Öhlins Smart EC3 semi-active set-up. Dynamics are enhanced by an Öhlins SD EC electronic steering damper. This system adjusts damping on the go, to suit road conditions. Triumph's 1160cc triple-cylinder mill delivers 135kW at 10,750rpm and 128Nm at 8750rpm. That's a small amount up on the outgoing RS. A new free-flowing Akrapovič titanium silencer helps centralise mass, and improves the sound of the RX triple. Where the rubber meets the road are Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres. Brakes are by Brembo, using Stylema calipers and a Brembo MCS lever. The set-up offers serious stopping power and a customisable feel. At 199kg wet, the RX remains one of the lightest bikes in its class, aided by a lightweight lithium-ion battery and new lightweight wheels. Thee RX is finished in Triumph's Performance Yellow and Granite paintwork, with white highlights and carbon fibre bodywork. Recognizably Speed Triple are the twin headlights, single-sided swingarm, and an aggressive stance. A carbon fibre front mudguard, sculpted rear end, and yellow-accented rear wheel round out the race-bred look. Ahead of the rider is a five-inch TFT display driven by a joystick controller on the left handlebar block. Standard tech includes five riding modes, Cornering ABS and Traction Control, Front Wheel Lift Control, Engine Braking Control, and Brake Slide Assist for better control on track. A new performance seat improves grip and mobility in the saddle, while keyless ignition, cruise control, My Triumph Connectivity, and a smart Emergency Deceleration Warning system add day-to-day practicality. Paul Stroud, Triumph's Chief Commercial Officer, says the RX will appeal to discerning enthusiasts who want more exclusivity and a sharper edge for their Speed Triple. Deliveries kick off here in Q4 when pricing is also announced.
