Mansory's Latest Car Is a Bonkers Monopoly-Themed G-Wagen Convertible
Mansory's latest improvement—or abomination, depending on your perspective—is a G-Wagen convertible with a livery inspired by the board game Monopoly. The new car is based on the Mansory Speranza, itself based on a current-generation Mercedes G-Wagen. The Speranza was the seventh G-Wagen derivative that Mansory made, a four-door convertible with rear-hinged doors in the rear and an 820 horsepower V-8 engine under the hood. The Speranza can go from zero to 62 mph in just four seconds, with a top speed limited at 155 mph, though neither speed, nor power, nor handling, nor driving, really, are the point of the Speranza. Mansory made the vehicle in collaboration with the artist known as Alec Monopoly, who has teamed up with brands before for Monopoly-themed objects. Mansory will make just 10 of the MANSORY – Art Piece – AL3CMONO907Y, the last bit of that official name being Alec Monopoly's name in different alphanumeric characters. The exterior of the car is hand-painted by the artist, which takes several days, before it is then sealed with clear coat. Inside, you'll also find various Monopoly-themed touches, while the example shown by Mansory is colored in a teal with different color seatbelts. The Monopoly-themed car's loud exterior and interior also distract slightly from the somewhat-impressive engineering going on, with Mansory having to reinforce the auto and add rigidity to compensate for the fact that removing the roof removes a load-bearing part of the body. The new launch is also shorter than the Speranza, which means the roof flows a little better, Mansory says. Like any of the brand's creations, virtually any part of the car is customizable. Mansory did not reveal a price for its Monopoly-themed car, but its creations do not run cheap, and it would not be surprising if the German tuner is asking a seven-figure price. ARC Raiders Release Date Confirmed: Enter Speranza This Fall
Embark Studios, developer of The Finals, has revealed it'll release its next game, ARC Raiders, on Oct. 30. ARC Raiders is a third-person, player-versus-player-versus-environment extraction shooter set in a lush postapocalyptic world. Deadly machines have forced the last remnants of humanity to funnel into the underground city of Speranza. As medicine, food and other supplies dwindle, brave mercenaries called Raiders head topside to gun down robots (and other humans) and bring home shiny loot. Players are able to strike off on their own or band together in squads of three to increase their chances of survival. The release date reveal comes hot on the heels of the game's second tech test in May, when hundreds of thousands of players tried out the latest ARC Raiders build and tens of thousands of concurrent viewers made it one of the most-viewed games on Twitch. Embark Studios' executive producer, Aleksander Grøndal, said in a press release that the popularity of the test was the best rehearsal the developer could've hoped for ahead of the fall release. "The test also honed in on concrete things we're addressing in this last stretch of development," he said. "There are bugs to squash, as well as general polish and performance improvements to be done. We're also fine-tuning game balance and the player economy, and will work on an even better onboarding experience for players who come in new to this genre." Grøndal said ARC Raiders' postrelease support will focus first and foremost on adding new locations and new loot for players to discover. ARC Raiders' release date puts it in even more direct competition with Bungie's Marathon, which is slated for release on Sept. 23. Both games are entering a highly competitive niche gaming genre, where only giants like Escape From Tarkov have historically survived -- and many other innovative titles like The Cycle: Frontier have failed. ARC Raiders will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game will also be available through Nvidia GeForce Now cloud streaming.

But there are some easy ways to fight back and protect your money and sensitive personal information. According to Scott Speranza, CEO of HealthLock, AI is making it more difficult to detect medical billing scams. One reason is that AI is capable of creating logos and images that make a bill look authentic, even if it's not. He said AI can create images, videos and other content that's so realistic it can be impossible to detect a flaw unless you zoom in on one small pixel that's incorrect. 'Never pay a bill without verifying its authenticity,' Speranza said. 'Contact your insurance or healthcare provider via phone and ask if they sent you a bill.' Find Out: 'If you don't regularly receive bills from your insurance company or healthcare provider via email, then don't click on any links or reply to an email if you suddenly receive one,' Speranza said. 'The same goes for text messages.' According to Speranza, 'Consumers need to be more vigilant than ever and make sure they are not just blindly paying a bill without doing their research and stopping to ask first: Is this correct?' If you receive a bill and don't recognize the charges, contact the healthcare provider to find out what you're being billed for — and use the phone number or other contact information listed on the provider's website, not what's listed on the bill. This is a good tip to keep in mind beyond AI health scams.
