Walkers releases brand new Red Leicester flavour Quavers
Along with its core crisps, Walkers is responsible for products including Wotsits, Quavers, Monster Munch, Squares and Bugles, as well as various ranges like Max and Sensations. The crisps giant has expanded its range recently, releasing several new products including: Walkers Extra Flamin' Hot flavour crisps Walkers also relaunched its Worcester Sauce crisps earlier this year, after they were discontinued back in 2023. Now, Walkers has released new Red Leicester Cheese Quavers. The new snack has already been spotted at Premier, Heron and Farm Foods stores across the UK. Shoppers have taken to social media to share their excitement about the new Quavers. One person, posting on Facebook, said: "These sound banging." Another added: "Oh man, need to try these." A third person commented: "Red to try these, they sound fanny tastic." While this crisp lover posted: "Gonna love these!!" The new Red Leicester Quavers come in single or multipacks (packs of six). Quavers already come in a variety of different flavours, including Prawn Cocktail, Cheese and BBQ Sauce. But a flavour no longer part of the Quavers range is Salt & Vinegar, after Walkers announced in November 2023 that it had been discontinued. EastEnders actress Laila Morse has famous film star brother
Also known as 'Big Mo', she has been portrayed by actress Laila Morse in the programme, as well as in the spin-offs Slaters in Detention and Pat and Mo. She was introduced in 2000 as the matriarch of the Slater family and appeared for 16 years before departing initially. It wasn't long before she returned, though, as she was reintroduced in 2018 before being written out again in 2021. However, after a stint of a few episodes in 2022, she was permanently brought back in 2024, alongside great-grandson Freddie (played by Bobby Brazier). With Mo having been a presence on EastEnders for so long, many fans might be aware her actress Laila Morse has a very famous film star for a brother. It is an anagram of 'mia sorella', which translates from Italian as 'my sister'. Welcome to Uefa Champions League Squares - the new BBC Sport game which you can play alongside the live match four trivia questions for the chance to edit your randomly generated Squares bingo-style gamecard, and then see how many squares you are able to mark off when those events happen in real time that will be a new game for every Champions League matchday from now until the end of the is limited to UK users only. How does the game work? Each gameday will begin at 07:00 GMT on the morning of every Champions League matchday this will have the chance to answer four trivia questions to earn up to four edit tokens before your Squares gamecard is generated, and you can use those tokens to make changes to your gamecard until 17:00 GMT that that time has passed, your gamecard is locked down and you will take that card into that evening's games. For new users looking to start playing after 17:00, you can still receive a gamecard, but will not have the chance to edit information on the different ways to score points, read the How to Play section within the game itself. How do I get started? You will need to be signed into a BBC account to play Uefa Champions League Squares.
