TDP temples to witness the ritual

Tirupati: The Anivara Asthanam festival will be observed with religious fervour on July 16 at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple and Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple in Tirupati, along with Srivari temple in Tirumala. The Asthanam will be conducted between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm at the Bangaru Vakili with the processional deities of Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi. On the occasion, new garments will be brought ceremonially from the Pundarikavalli Ammavari temple and presented to the deity. The Asthanam will be held between 4 pm and 5 pm with the processional deities of Sri Kodanda Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana. New garments will be offered to the presiding and processional deities on the occasion. Tirumala Jeeyar Swamijis and temple officials will participate in the ceremonies.

Tirupati: The three-day annual Jyestabhishekam at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati concluded on Tuesday with the grand Kavacha Samarpana to the Utsava deity. The rituals began with Suprabhatam and darshan for devotees. Sri Govindaraja Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken to the Kalyana Mandapam. From 8 am to 11.30 amM, rituals like Sata Kalasa Snapanam, Mahashanti Homam, Tirumanjanam, Kavacha Pratishtha and Akshatarohanam were performed amidst Vedic chanting. The Kavacha Samarpana was performed from 12.30 pm to 4.30 pm. In the evening, from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm, the deity was taken in a procession around the temple streets accompanied by Ubhaya Nachiyars. Tirumala Peethadhipathis Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy and Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Dy EO V R Shanti, AEO K Munikrishna Reddy, other officials, and a large number of devotees participated.

Tirupati: On the second day of the ongoing Jyesthabhishekam at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati, Kavacha Prathishta ceremony was held with religious fervour on Monday. From 8 am to 10 am, Shatakalasabhishekam and Mahashanti Homam were conducted. This was followed by Snapana Tirumanjanam to the Utsava Murthis of Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sri Devi and Bhudevi in the Kalyana Mandapam between 10 am and 11.30 am. Later, special pujas and Kavacha Prathishta were performed. In the evening from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm, the deities were taken in a procession on Tiruchi around the four mada streets with Ubhaya Nachiyars. Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Deputy EO VR Shanthi, AEO K Muni Krishna Reddy and other officials and devotees participated.

Tirupati: The annual three-day Jyestabhishekam festival commenced at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati on Sunday. Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the Utsava Murthis of Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi at Kalyana Mandapam in the morning. Later, special pujas were performed to the Kavachams followed by Kavachaadhivasam. In the evening, the deities blessed devotees during a grand procession on Tiruchi along the four Mada streets. HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala, Dy EO VR Shanthi, AEO Munikrishna Reddy, temple priests, and other officials were present.

Tirupati: The rituals for Pushpayagam at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati commenced with Ankurarpanam and Senadhipathi Utsavam on Tuesday evening at 5.30 pm. The procession of the divine commander in chief, Sri Vishwaksena was held around temple streets. On July 2, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed at 9.30 am, followed by Pushpayagam from 1 pm to 4 pm with a range of variety of flowers to the deities. Later, from 6 pm to 7.30 pm, Swamy along with Ammavarlu will bless devotees Deputy EO Shanti, AEO Muni Krishna Reddy, temple officials and priests participated.
